Mary Ellen (Sackett) Scott, daughter of Charles Henry "Chuck" Sackett and Agnes R Donnelly, was born on 14 August 1958.1 She died aged 67 on 24 February 2026 and was buried at Union Cemetery, Hyde Park, Dutchess County, New York StateG.1,2
     Mary was a member of the Sackett Family Association.

Obituary
Mary Ellen Scott Obituary
     Mary (Sackett) Scott passed away on February 24, 2026. She was known for her love of cardinals, roses, the color red, and for praising the Lord daily. Mary lived much of her life as an adventurer, moving from place to place and rarely settling in one spot for long. Her journey carried her through New York, Texas, and Florida, leaving pieces of her story in each place she called home.
     She was born to Charles and Agnes Sackett.
     Mary is survived by her siblings Carol Shackelton, Sharon Chapman, Charlene Bedell, and her stepsister Jackie Sidote. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Sackett Jr., and her stepbrother, Ray Sidote.
     She is also survived by her children: Lisa Everts (Jake), Bradley Sackett, Tanya Smith (Michael), Kristi Scott, Danielle Scott, Amanda Scott, and Ryan Scott; 17 grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
     Mary’s final resting place will be in Hyde Park, New York, where she will be laid to rest near her father.
