Mary Maria Elizabeth Sackett, daughter of Walter John Sackett and Sarah Elizabeth Mills, was born in Aston, Warwickshire^G, in 1847.^2,3,1 She was baptized in Bordesley, Warwickshire^G, on 6 July 1857.⁴ She died in Weymouth, Dorset^G, in 1919.¹ She married in Pancras, Middlesex^G, in 1880, Henry James Godfrey Green.^1,5
     In 1851 Mary was living at Union Passage, Birmingham, Warwickshire^G, and was recorded in the census as Mary Sackett, aged 3 and born in Aston, Warwickshire, the daughter of Walter Sackett.³
     In 1861 she was living at 9 Highgate, Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire^G, in the household of her widowed father Walter, and was recorded as Mary M E Sackett, a scholar, aged 13 and born in Birmingham.⁶

Henrica Greene, daughter of Henry James Godfrey Green and Mary Maria Elizabeth Sackett, was born in Hammersmith^G in 1883.¹ She died there in 1929.¹ She married in 1923, Thomas Carter.¹

Henry Benjamin Walmsley, son of Benjamin Walmsley and Mary Sackett, was born in St George, Southwark, Surrey^G, on 8 November 1805¹ and baptized at Jamaica Row Independent Chapel, Bermondsey, Surrey^G, on 5 December 1805.²
     Henry was named as a beneficiary in his great-uncle Ambrose Sackett's will made in St John in Thanet^G on 6 February 1808. He was left an amount of £20.³

Daniel Sackett, son of Thomas Francis Sackett and Margaret Barnett, was born in West Ham, Essex^G, on 1 September 1896.^1,2 He died aged 75 in Stepney, London^G, in 1972.³ He married in West Ham^G in 1921, Clara H Grant.^4,5
     In 1901 Daniel was living at 22 Woodstock Street, West Ham^G, in the household of his widowed father Thomas, and was recorded in the census as Daniel Sacket, aged four and born in Canning Town.¹
     In 1911 he was living at 76 Clifton Road, Canning Town, West Ham^G, in the household of his father Thomas and stepmother Sarah, and was recorded as Daniel Sackett, a van boy, aged 14 and born in West Ham.⁶
     Daniel served in the British Army during the First World War in the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. He saw active service overseas but was required to return the usual Victory Medal and British Medal following desertion from the service on 7 May 1918.^7,8

Francis Robert Sackett, son of Francis Robert Sackett and Sarah Williamson Weightman, was born in Bermondsey, Surrey^G, in 1853¹ and died there in infancy in 1853.²

William Sackett, son of Walter John Sackett and Sarah Elizabeth Mills, was born in Aston, Warwickshire^G, in 1850.^1,2 He was baptized at Bordesley, Warwickshire^G, on 6 July 1857.³

     In 1861 he was living at 9 Highgate, Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire^G, in the household of his widowed father Walter, and was recorded as William Sackett, a scholar, aged ten and born in Birmingham.⁴
     William emigrated to the United States, arriving in New York on 11 June 1867, but records of him there have not yet been found.^5,6

Abraham Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett and Comfort ___, was born, presumably in Vermont^G, say 1775.¹ He died in St Lawrence County, New York State^G, before 1842. He married in Vermont^G about 1800, Lucy ___. Lucy was born in New Hampshire^G about 1780.¹ After Abram's death, Lucy married second in Pierrepont, St Lawrence County^G, on 26 March 1842, Isaac Read.²
     Abraham was listed in the census in 1800 and 1810 as a householder in Panton, Addison County, Vermont^G.^3,4 In 1820 and 1830 he was a householder in Potsdam, St Lawrence County, New York State^G.^5,6 In 1840 he was a householder in Pierrepont, St Lawrence County^G.⁷
     In 1850 Lucy was living in Pierrepont, St Lawrence County^G, with her second husband Isaac Read, 71, a farmer, and was listed in the census as Lucy Read, aged 70 and born in New Hampshire.⁸
     In 1860 Lucy was living in Pierrepont, St Lawrence County^G, in the household of her son Abram and daughter-in-law Esther and was recorded in the census as Lucy Read, aged 80 and born in New Hampshire.⁹

Joseph Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett and Comfort ___, was born say 1770. He married in Vermont^G about 1788, ___ ___.
     In 1790 Joseph was living in Addison, Addison County, Vermont^G. In his household were one man and two females.¹
     Joseph was listed in the 1800 census as a householder in Panton, Addison County^G.² Joseph was probably one of the two males aged 45 and over living in Panton^G in 1810, the other assumed to have been his father.³ In 1820 he was a householder in Elba, Genesee County, New York State^G.⁴
     On 11 August 1825 Joseph, then of Elba^G, placed a newspaper notice.⁵
     Further newspaper notices were placed by Joseph concerning runaway Clark Sackett aged 17 (23 June 1826), and runaway Joseph Sackett Jr aged 14 (30 March 1827.)⁶

Eunice Sackett, daughter of Joseph Sackett and Comfort ___, was born in Vermont^G say 1773. She married in Panton, Addison County, Vermont^G, on 28 February 1794, Lathan Clark.¹

Isaac Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett and Comfort ___, was born in Vermont^G about 1780.¹ He died in St Lawrence County, New York State^G, after December 1862.² He married Sarah "Sally" ___. Sarah was born in Vermont^G about 1797.¹
     On 14 February 1807 Isaac, then of Panton, Vermont^G, bought a landholding of 101 acres in Potsdam, New York, for $117 from two New York City merchants, the deed being recorded on 26 February 1811.³
     Isaac was listed in the 1810 census as a householder in Panton, Addison County, Vermont^G.⁴ It would appear that he removed to Potsdam in 1810 or 1811.
     Isaac was listed in the census in 1820, 1830, and 1840 as a householder in Potsdam, St Lawrence County, New York State^G.^5,6,7
     Isaac and his wife Sarah sold land in Potsdam^G on 26 January 1824 for $311.⁸ On 20 March 1829 they sold land to their son Ethan for $140.⁹
     In 1850 Isaac was living in Potsdam^G and was recorded in the census as Isaac Sackett, a farmer, aged 70 and born in Vermont. His farm was valued at $1,300. His wife Sally, 53, was living with him. Also in the household were David Davis, 20, a farmer, and Cynthia Davis, 16. Also in the household, but with his own farm, were Isaac and Sally's son Benjamin, 34, his wife Jane, 24, and their son Gilbert, aged four.¹⁰
     On 1 February 1855 Isaac bought a further 15 acres for $86, the land to be under contract to his son Benjamin.¹¹
     In 1860 he was living in Potsdam^G and was recorded as Isaac Sackett, farmer, aged 80. Living with him were his wife Charlott, 63, [see note] and their sons, Isaac B, 49, and Levi, 48. There was also a female servant iin the household.^12,13
     On 4 December 1862 a document was drawn up between Isaac and his sons, Isaac B, Levi, and Benjamin P, providing for Isaac's care in his old age.¹⁴

Chauncey Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett and Comfort ___, was born, presumably in Addison County, Vermont^G, about 1780. He died aged 47 in Marlow, Addison County^G, on 21 April 1827 and was buried at Advent-Smith Cemetery, Addison^G.^2,3 He married about 1814, Polly ___.¹ Polly was born in Vermont^G about 1792.⁴ She died aged about 72 in Michigan^G on 22 November 1864 and was buried at Follett Cemetery, Bellevue, Eaton County, Michigan^G.³
     Chauncey was listed in the 1820 census as a householder in Addison, Vermont^G.⁵
     Chauncey died intestate. The Probate Court at New Haven, Addison County^G, appointed Joseph Spencer Jr as administrator of the estate on 14 May 1827. An inventory dated 6 June 1827 valued the 47-acre land holding at $517, and personal estate, including livestock, at $924. A list of claims against the estate amounting to $121 was drawn up on 14 November 1827. Several years later, in October 1831, the Court appointed a committee to value the real estate and set out a one-third widow's share. The land, comprising 52 acres, was valued at $624, and two parcels of land, valued together at $208, were allotted to Polly.
     In June 1836, Polly was formally appointed guardian of her children Alonzo and Polly Mariah, they being minor heirs to Chauncey's estate who would inherit when they came of age. Polly's elder daughter Eliza was by then of full age, and her husband Almon Murray stood surety.⁶
     In 1830, Chauncey's widow Polly was listed as a householder in Addison^G.⁷
     Polly was listed in the 1840 census as a householder in Canton, St Lawrence County, New York State^G.⁸
     In 1850 Polly, aged 57, was living in Bellevue, Eaton County, Michigan^G, with her son Alonzo in the household of George Hyer, a farmer.⁹
     In 1860 she was living in Bellevue^G in the household of her son Alonzo and daughter-in-law Maria, and was recorded as Polly Sackett, aged 68 and born in Vermont.¹⁰

Abigail Sackett, daughter of Joseph Sackett and Comfort ___, was born in Vermont^G about 1786.¹ She married about 1809, David Harris.² David was born in Vermont^G about 1785.¹
     In 1850 Abigail was living in Potsdam, St Lawrence County, New York State^G, in the household of her husband David Harriss, 65, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Abigail Harriss, aged 64 and born in Vermont. Living with them were their children, Emeline, 30, and Edwin, 26.³

Sally Sackett, presumed daughter of Joseph Sackett and Comfort ___, was born probably in Addison County, Vermont^G, say 1785.¹ She married in Panton, Addison County^G, on 7 August 1806, Joseph White.²

Susannah Sackett, daughter of Joseph Sackett and ___ ___, was born in Addison County, Vermont^G, on 5 October 1790.¹ She died aged 71 in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania^G, on 7 February 1862.² She married in Abington, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania^G, on 24 May 1812, Aaron Phillips, son of Andrew Phillips and Ruth Wall.¹ Aaron was born in Glocester, Providence County, Rhode Island^G, on 12 May 1790.² He died aged 50 in Fleetville, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania^G, on 7 June 1840.²

Hiram Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett and ___ ___, was born in Panton, Addison County, Vermont^G, about 1794.¹ He died in Michigan^G after 1850.¹ He married at Abington, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania^G, on 4 August 1814, Anna Jones.¹ Anna was born in Pennsylvania^G on 8 July 1797.¹ He died in Jackson County, Michigan^G.¹
     Hiram served as a Private in the New York Volunteers in the War of 1812.²
     Hiram was listed in the 1820 census as a householder in Bergen, Genesee County^G.³
