William Sacket Jr, son of William Sacket and Olive Dean, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 14 December 1788.^1,2,3 He died aged 75 in Alexandria, Jefferson County, New York State^G, on 17 February 1864⁴ and was buried at Browns Corners Cemetery, Alexandria Center, Jefferson County^G.⁶ He married about 1819, Sabrina Carter.^4,5 Sabrina was born on 15 June 1800.⁷ She died aged 64 in Alexandria^G on 9 January 1865⁴ and was buried at Brown Corner Cemetery^G.⁴
     William served as a Private in the 101st Regiment, New York Militia, in the War of 1812. His brothers, Samuel and Marvin, served in the same regiment.⁸
     William was listed in the census in 1820 and 1830 as a householder in Lowville, Lewis County, New York State^G.^9,10 In 1840 he was a householder in Alexandria, Jefferson County^G.¹¹
     In 1850 William was living in Alexandria^G and was recorded in the census as William Sackett, aged 62 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Sabrina, 50, and their daughter Harriet, 21. Their son James was living next door with his family.¹²

Samuel Sackett, son of William Sacket and Olive Dean, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 17 October 1790.^1,2,3 He died aged 55 in Martinsburgh, Lewis County, New York State^G, on 12 March 1846 and was buried at West Martinsburgh, Lewis County^G.⁵ He married about 1814, Sarah Wright.⁴ Sarah was born in Massachusetts^G on 25 October 1791.⁶ She died aged 71 on 29 October 1862⁶ and was buried at Saranac Cemetery, Ionia County, Michigan^G.⁶
     Samuel served as a Drummer in the 101st Regiment, New York Militia, in the War of 1812. His brothers, William and Marvin, served in the same regiment.⁷
     Samuel was listed in the 1820 census as a householder in Lowville, Lewis County, New York State^G.⁸ In 1830 and 1840 he was a householder in Martinsburgh, Lewis County^G.^9,10
     In 1855 Samuel's widow Sarah, aged 64, was living with her son John and daughter-in-law Sylvia in Mexico, Oswego County, New York State^G.¹¹
     In 1860 Samuel's widow Sarah, aged 61 [actually 68], was living with her son John and daughter-in-law Sylvia in Boston, Ionia County, Michigan^G.¹²

Julia Sacket, daughter of William Sacket and Olive Dean, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 11 March 1792^1,2,3 and died on 9 April 1852.¹ She married on 30 January 1817, James Noble.¹

Marvin Sacket, farmer, son of William Sacket and Olive Dean, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 16 October 1796.^1,2,3 He married at Suffield, Hartford County, Connecticut^G, on 17 February 1818, Polly Nelson, daughter of Horace Nelson and Polley Killam.⁴

     Marvin was listed in the 1820 census as a householder in Lowville, Lewis County, New York State^G.⁶ In 1830 he was a householder in Turin, Lewis County^G.⁷ In 1840 he was a householder in Ohio, Herkimer County, New York State^G.⁸
     Marvin's wife Polly was named as a beneficiary in her father's will made in Westfield^G on 10 February 1841 and proved at the Springfield Probate Court on 1 March 1842. She was left a sum of $5.⁹
     In 1850 Marvin was living in West Turin, Lewis County, New York State^G, and was recorded in the census as Marvin Sacket, a farmer, aged 54. Living with him were his wife Polly, 49, and their son Byron, aged twelve.¹⁰
     In 1855 he was living in Lewis, New York State^G, and was recorded as Marvin Sackett, a laborer, aged 53. His wife Polly, aged 51, was living with him. They had lived in Lewis County for seven years. Their son James was at the neighboring property and son Horace was nearby.¹¹
