Franciana "Fannie" Sacket, daughter of Royal Almeron Sackett and Sophia Holcomb, was born in Southwick, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 7 November 1845.1 She died aged 57 in Milton, Norfolk County, MassachusettsG, on 1 May 1903 and was buried at Milton CemeteryG.3,4 She married in Stoughton, Norfolk County, MassachusettsG, on 4 November 1874, John Merrill Browne, son of Simeon Browne and Sarah ___.2 John was born in York County, MaineG, on 5 April 1839.3 He died aged 86 in Milton, Norfolk County, MassachusettsG, on 2 August 1925 and was buried at Milton CemeteryG.3
     In 1850 Franciana was living in SouthwickG in the household of her grandparents Royal and Eunice Sackett, and was recorded in the census as Francene Sackett, aged five and born in Massachusetts.5
     In 1860 she was living in Westfield, Hampden CountyG, in the household of her parents Almeron and Sophia, and was recorded as Francena S Sacket, aged 14.6
     In 1870 she was living in New Bedford, Bristol County, MassachusettsG, in the household of her parents Almeron and Sophia, and was recorded as Fanny Sacket, a music teacher, aged 24.7
     In 1880 she was living in MiltonG in the household of her husband Merrill, 40, a lawyer, and was recorded as Fanny S Brown, aged 33. Living with them were their children, Merrill, 2, and Walter, aged ten months.8
     In 1900 she was living at Pleasant Street, MiltonG, in the household of her widowed father Almeron, 77, and was recorded as Fannie S Browne, aged 54. Living with her were her husband John M Browne, 62, and their children, Merrill, 22, and Maud, aged twelve.9
