Franciana "Fannie" Sacket, daughter of Royal Almeron Sackett and Sophia Holcomb, was born in Southwick, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 7 November 1845.¹ She died aged 57 in Milton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts^G, on 1 May 1903 and was buried at Milton Cemetery^G.^3,4 She married in Stoughton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts^G, on 4 November 1874, John Merrill Browne, son of Simeon Browne and Sarah ___.² John was born in York County, Maine^G, on 5 April 1839.³ He died aged 86 in Milton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts^G, on 2 August 1925 and was buried at Milton Cemetery^G.³
     In 1850 Franciana was living in Southwick^G in the household of her grandparents Royal and Eunice Sackett, and was recorded in the census as Francene Sackett, aged five and born in Massachusetts.⁵
     In 1860 she was living in Westfield, Hampden County^G, in the household of her parents Almeron and Sophia, and was recorded as Francena S Sacket, aged 14.⁶
     In 1870 she was living in New Bedford, Bristol County, Massachusetts^G, in the household of her parents Almeron and Sophia, and was recorded as Fanny Sacket, a music teacher, aged 24.⁷
     In 1880 she was living in Milton^G in the household of her husband Merrill, 40, a lawyer, and was recorded as Fanny S Brown, aged 33. Living with them were their children, Merrill, 2, and Walter, aged ten months.⁸
     In 1900 she was living at Pleasant Street, Milton^G, in the household of her widowed father Almeron, 77, and was recorded as Fannie S Browne, aged 54. Living with her were her husband John M Browne, 62, and their children, Merrill, 22, and Maud, aged twelve.⁹

     In 1850 Elizabeth was living in Williamson, Wayne County, New York State^G, in the household of her husband Isaac M Wade, 35, a baptist minister, and was recorded in the census as E K Wade, aged 29 and born in New York. Living with them were their children, Dewitt, 10, Mary, 8, and Martha, aged seven, and Elizabeth's brother Daniel, 18.⁷
