Mary Ann Phoebe Sackett, daughter of William Sackett and Mary Ann Phoebe Lloyd, was born in Bethnal Green, Middlesex^G, on 21 August 1838¹ and baptized at St Philip's Church, Bethnal Green^G, on 17 October 1844.² She married in St Paul, Canonbury, Middlesex^G, on 12 September 1869, John Lovelock, son of William Lovelock.³

     John was taken to America as a young child by his parents when they emigrated to New York in about 1853.
     In 1880 John was living in Greenburgh, Westchester County, New York State^G, and was recorded in the census as John B Sackett, a druggist, head of household, married, aged 28 and born in England. Living with him were his wife Lavinia, aged 24 and born in New York, and their children, William, 3, and Clarissa, aged one. Also in the household was a nine-year-old (?) female servant.³

Alfred Edwin Sackett, son of Robert George Sackett and Judith Fegen, was born in Thanet, Kent^G, in 1852.¹ He died in infancy in Ramsgate, Kent^G, in 1853^2,3 and was buried at St George's Church, Ramsgate^G, on 4 January 1854.²

     In 1871 he was living at 7 Frances Place, Shoreditch^G, in the household of his widowed mother Louisa, and was recorded as Thomas Sackett, aged 17 and born in Shoreditch.⁴

Emma Hannah Sackett, daughter of George Sackett and Emma Boreman, was born in Margate, Kent^G, in 1854.^1,2 She married first in Thanet^G in 1873, George Watson Pearce, a farm labourer.^3,4 George was born in Margate^G in 1851⁷ and died there aged 30 in 1881.⁸ She married in Thanet, Kent^G, in 1884, Thomas Read.^5,6 Thomas was born in Bishopsbourne, Kent^G, about 1836.
     In 1861 Emma was living at Coldharbour Square, Canterbury, Kent^G, in the household of her widowed mother Emma, and was recorded in the census as Emma Sackett, aged six and born in Margate.⁹
     In 1881 she was living at 10 Sparrow Castle, Margate^G, in the household of her husband George, 30, a general labourer, and was recorded as Emma Pierce, aged 30 [sic; 26/27] and born in Margate. Living with them were their children, Louisa, 8, Ada, 6, George, 3, and William, aged one.¹⁰
     In 1901 she was living at 12 Milton Road, Margate^G, in the household of her second husband Thomas Read, 64, a fisherman, and was recorded as Emma Read, aged 55 and born in Margate. Living with them were their children, Nellie, 15, John, 9, Edith, 5, and Florence, aged two, and Emma's son William Pearce, 21.¹¹

Louisa Alma Sackett, daughter of Francis Sackett and Sarah Williamson, was born in St George in the East, Middlesex^G, in 1854.¹ She died there in infancy² and was buried at the City of London and Tower Hamlets Cemetery (Bow Cemetery)^G on 11 May 1856.³

Vincent Edward Sackett, son of Eli John Sackett and Amelia Terry, was born in Stepney, Middlesex^G, in 1855¹ and baptized at St George in the East, Middlesex^G, on 1 November 1857.² He died by poisoning, aged 39, at Castle Street, Shulay, Bangalore, Madras, India^G, on 12 October 1894.^3,4,5 He married in Bangalore^G on 10 April 1882, Elizabeth Perrett, daughter of Thomas Perrett.^6,7,8 Elizabeth was born about 1865.⁹ After Vincent's death, Elizabeth married second in Bangalore^G on 30 December 1895, Alfred Robert Clarke, son of Alfred Clarke.
     Vincent was a barge builder before enlisting in the British Army, aged 19, at Sheerness, Kent^G, on 1 October 1874. He served in the Royal Artillery for eighteen years, including thirteen years in India. Following his discharge in 1893 he lived in Madras. At the date of his death he was a Chelsea Pensioner, receiving his army pension as an out-pensioner.^7,10

Samuel John Sackett, son of Samuel John Sackett and Mary Ann Gardner, was born in Newington, Surrey^G, in 1855.¹ He died in childhood in Lambeth, Surrey^G, in 1860.²

Alfred Sackett, son of Edward Sackett and Louisa Pegden, was born in Greenwich, Kent^G, in 1855.¹ He died there in infancy on 6 January 1856² and was buried at Woolwich Cemetery, Greenwich^G, on 11 January 1856.³
