     In 1910 he was living in Lakeland Township, Barron County, Wisconsin^G, and was recorded as Hamlin B Sackett, a farmer, head of household, married, aged 45 and born in New York. He owned his farm on a mortgage. Living with him were his wife Lottie, 42, and their children, Daisy Rose, 17, Walter Albert, 12, and Glen W, aged three months. Lottie's widowed father Cyrus Clark, 76, was also living with them. Hamlin's brother Samuel had the neighboring farm.⁴

     Walter completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was aged 20 and was living at Cumberland, Brown County, Wisconsin^G, with his wife Vivian. He was employed as a farm hand.³

Glen W Sackett, son of Hamlin B Sackett and Lottie A Clark, was born in Wisconsin^G in 1910.¹

     Arthur emigrated to Canada^G with his parents George and Emma and sisters, Ida and Olive. They left from Liverpool on the Empress of Ireland and arrived at St John, New Brunswick, on 25 April 1913.²

Emma Adams, daughter of Frederick Hogbin Adams and Emma Stark, was born in Monkton, Kent^G, on 17 November 1865.¹ She married in Marden, Kent^G, on 29 August 1888, George Edgar Hook, son of George Hook and Frances Jane Lindridge.¹

Living with him were his wife Emma, 23, and their children, Sackett, 4, Frederick, 2, and Frank, aged one. Also in the household was a 13-year-old female house servant.¹⁰

Also in the household was a female domestic servant.¹¹
     In 1881 Frederick's widow Emma was living at the New Inn, Main Road, Monkton^G, and was recorded in the census as Emma Adams, licensed victualler, head of household, a widow aged 43 and born in Sarre. Living with her were her children, Sackett, 24, Emma, 15, Alfred, 13, Arthur, 11, and Ellen, aged nine.¹²

Sackett Adams, son of Frederick Hogbin Adams and Emma Stark, was born in Monkton, Kent^G, in 1856¹ and baptized at St Mary Magdalene Church, Monkton^G, on 13 July 1856.^2,3 He died aged 27 in Monkton^G,4 and was buried at St Mary Magdalene Church^G on 15 January 1884.⁵ His grandfather, also Sackett Adams, was recorded as the "person responsible for the funeral". The elder Sackett Adams died a few months later.
