Harriet Crow Jarman, daughter of James Jarman and Harriet Sackett, was born in St Peter in Thanet, Kent^G, in 1801 and baptized at St Peter in Thanet^G on 28 June 1801.¹ She died aged 61 in Thanet^G,2 and was buried at Ramsgate^G on 16 February 1862.⁴ She married at St John in Thanet, Kent^G, on 11 March 1823, Thomas Spain, son of Thomas Spain and Sarah Marsh.³ Thomas was born in Northdown, St John's, Margate^G, about 1800⁵ and baptized at St John in Thanet^G on 20 April 1800.⁶
     In 1841 Harriet was living in Ramsgate, Kent^G, in the household of her husband Thomas, 45+, an agricultural labourer, and was recorded in the census as Harriet Spain, aged 40+ and born in Kent. Living with them were their children, Emma, 10, Henry, 9, Keziah, 6, Hannah, 4, and Rosina, aged one.⁷
     In 1851 she was living at 2 Portland Court, Ramsgate^G, in the household of her husband Thomas, 52, a labourer, and was recorded as Harriett Spain, aged 49 and born in St Peter's. Living with them were their children, Hannah, 13, and Eliza, aged four.⁸
     In 1861 she was living at 3 Cumberland Cottages, St Lawrence in Thanet^G, in the household of her husband Thomas, 63, an agricultural labourer, and was recorded as Harriet Spain, aged 59 and born in Broadstairs. Living with them were their daughters, Eliza, 14, and Hannah Bristow, a widow, 23, and Hannah's sons, Phillip, 2, and Selham [Salem], aged one.⁹

Harriet Sackett Jarman, daughter of James William Jarman and Mary Kirby, was baptized at All Saints, Birchington, Thanet, Kent^G, on 13 October 1828.¹ She married at St Peter in Thanet, Kent^G, on 19 April 1863, William Morris Evans, a mariner, son of Henry Evans.^2,3

James William Jarman, bricklayer and plasterer, son of James Jarman and Harriet Sackett, was born in Ramsgate, Kent^G, in 1803¹ and baptized at St Lawrence in Thanet^G on 10 July 1803.² He died aged about 82 in Thanet, Kent^G, in 1886.³ He married at St John in Thanet, Kent^G, on 14 August 1825, Mary Kirby.¹ She was born in Herne, Kent^G, about 1800.⁴
     In 1851 James was living at 13 Alfred Cottages, Ramsgate, Kent^G, and was recorded in the census as James W Jarman, bricklayer & plasterer, head of household, married, aged 47 and born in Ramsgate. Living with him were his wife Mary, 51, children, Richard, 19, William, 14, and Thomas, 12, and grandson Alfred J Jarman, aged two.⁵

Kate Jarman, daughter of William Sackett Jarman and Elizabeth Sarah Offen, was born in Ramsgate, Kent^G, in 1866¹ and baptized at St. George's Church, Ramsgate^G, on 25 February 1866.²
     In 1881 Kate was living at 35 Great Queen Street, Dartford, Kent^G, in the household of her father William and stepmother Eliza, and was recorded in the census as Kate Jarman, aged 15 and born in Ramsgate.³

Lillian Maude Jarman, daughter of Alfred William Jarman and Linda Maude Atkins, was born in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia^G, on 10 June 1912.¹ She died aged 77 in the Flinders Village Nursing Home, 284 Castle Hill Road, Sydney, New South Wales^G, on 8 September 1989² and was buried at Woronora Church of England Cemetery, Sydney^G.² She married at the Church of England Church, Princes Highway, St Peters, Sydney^G, on 27 October 1933, Harold Ralph Bernard Waller.³ He was born in West Maitland, New South Wales^G, on 18 June 1911.¹ He died aged 36 in Sydney^G on 25 April 1948⁴ and was buried at Woronora Church of England Cemetery^G on 27 April 1948.⁴
