Annie Louisa Easton, daughter of James Easton and Ann Devonshire "Annie" Sackette, was born in Streatham, Surrey^G, on 17 September 1859 and baptized at Christ Church, Streatham Hill, Lambeth, Surrey^G, on 21 October 1859.¹ She died aged 93 at home at Atherstone Hall, Atherstone, Warwickshire^G, on 15 June 1953.^2,3,4 She married at All Saints Margaret Street, St Marylebone, Middlesex^G, on 12 April 1882, John Edward Compton-Bracebridge, a civil engineer, son of Rev Berdmore Compton, vicar of All Saints, who conducted the marriage ceremony.⁵ John had been apprenticed to Annie's father's company, Easton and Anderson, and became a partner in the firm in 1884.⁶ He was born in Barford, Warwickshire^G, on 13 July 1859^7,8 and died aged 78 at home at Atherstone Hall, Atherstone, Warwickshire^G, on 12 December 1937.^9,4
