Joseph Sackett, son of Cyrus Sackett and Nancy Anne Stapleton, was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky^G, on 30 March 1794.^1,2 He died in Mercer County, Ohio^G, before 1840.³ He married in Greene County, Ohio^G, on 28 May 1816, Anna Vandolah, daughter of Peter Vandolah and Saran Ann ___.¹ Anna was born in Fayette County, Pennsylvania^G, on 16 March 1798⁴ and died aged 41 in Bellbrook, Greene County, Ohio^G, on 13 December 1839.⁴
     Joseph was listed in the 1820 census as a householder in Sugar Creek, Greene County, Ohio^G.⁵ In 1830 he was a householder in St Mary's, Mercer County, Ohio^G.⁶

Sarah Sackett, daughter of Cyrus Sackett and Nancy Anne Stapleton, was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky^G, on 24 May 1795.^1,2 She died aged 76 in Miami County, Ohio^G, on 8 January 1872.² She married in Greene County, Ohio^G, on 16 April 1816, Benjamin Hand.^1,3

     In 1850 Samuel was living at Blue Creek, Adams County, Indiana^G, and was recorded in the census as Samuel Sacket, a farmer, aged 50 and born in Ohio. Living with him were his wife Julia, 37, and their children, Cyrus, 12, Isabell, 11, Sarah, 10, William, 9, Samuel, 7, Elizabeth, 6, Julia, 4, Hannah, 2, and Andrew, aged one.⁵
     In 1860 Samuel's widow Julia was living at Blue Creek^G and was recorded in the census as Juliann Sackett, aged 45. Living with her were her children, Cyrus, 22, Sarah, 19, Samuel, 16, Elizabeth, 15, Juliann, 13, Hannah, 12, Andrew, 10, Eliza, 8, and George, aged five.⁶

Cyrus Sackett, son of Cyrus Sackett and Nancy Anne Stapleton, was born in Bell Brook, Greene County, Ohio^G, on 26 January 1803.^1,2 He died in 1836.³ He married in Franklin County, Indiana^G, on 15 September 1825, Nancy Jeffries.^4,1 She was born in Pennsylvania^G in 1807.⁵

Aner Sackett, daughter of Cyrus Sackett and Nancy Anne Stapleton, was born in Bellbrook, Greene County, Ohio^G, on 24 January 1807.^1,2 She died aged 69 in Fletcher, Miami County, Ohio^G, on 1 December 1876 and was buried at Fletcher Cemetery^G.³ She married in Greene County^G on 13 November 1836, Preston Patrick Pogue.^1,2 He was born in Greene County^G on 20 June 1818.³ After Aner's death, he married Margaret Haney in 1878.³ He died aged 86 in Miami County^G on 3 May 1905 and was buried at Fletcher Cemetery^G.³
     In 1850 Aner was living at Sugar Creek, Greene County, Ohio^G, in the household of Preston Pogue, 33, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Ann Pogue, aged 41 and born in Ohio. Living with them were their children, Alex, 12, Cyrus, 10, Jasper [Joseph], 8, Martha, 6, James, 4, Lucinda, 3, and Sarah, aged one.⁴
     In 1860 she was living in Brown, Miami County^G, in the household of her husband Preston Pogue, 42, a farmer, and was recorded as Aner Pogue, aged 48. Living with them were their children, Cyrus, 19, Joseph, 17, Martha, 15, James, 13, Lucinda, 12, and Sarah, aged ten.⁵
     In 1870 she was living in Brown, Miami County^G, in the household of her husband Preston Pogue, 52, a retired farmer, and was recorded as Aner Pogue, aged 62. Also in the household were their daughter Lucinda, 23, son Alexander, 32, Alexander's second wife, Samantha, 19, and Alexander's children by his first marriage, Josephine, 9, Clara, 6, and Alice, aged three.⁶

Alexander Sackett, farmer, son of Cyrus Sackett and Nancy Anne Stapleton, was born in Sugar Creek Township, Greene County, Ohio^G, on 3 April 1808.^1,2 He died aged 85 in Sugar Creek Township^G on 10 April 1893.^3,2 He married first about 1834, Isabell Preston.^3,4 Isabell died about 1848.³ He married second at Greene County^G on 14 July 1849, Mary Brewster.^3,5

     In 1850 Alexander was living in Sugar Creek, Greene County, Ohio^G, and was recorded in the census as Alex Sackett, a farmer, aged 42 and born in Ohio. Living with him were his second wife, Mary, aged 35, and his children by his first marriage, Martha, 15, Sarah, 14, Cyrus, Mary, 10, Emily, 9 [sic: 6], and Enor [Aner], aged eight. Alexander's widowed mother Nancy, aged 84, was living next door.⁷
     In 1860 he was living in Sugar Creek^G and was recorded as Alexander Sackett, a farmer, aged 52 and born in Ohio. Living with him were his second wife, Mary, 45, Alexander's children by his first marriage, Cyrus, 22, and Emily, 16, and Alexander and Mary's children, Lois, 9, Samuel, 6, and Alexander, aged three months.⁸
