Arnold Howard Sackett Sr, son of Elihu Elton Sackett and Amy Floretta Maine, was born in Winnebago, Faribault County, Minnesota^G, on 30 September 1913.^2,3 He died aged 77 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon^G, on 18 January 1991^2,4,5 and was buried at Lincoln Memorial Park, Portland^G.⁸ He married first at Arnolds Park, Dickinson County, Iowa^G, on 25 July 1935, Inez Anna Pierce, daughter of Oscar R Pierce and Gady I Winch.^2,6 Inez was born on 25 December 1914.⁹ She died aged 58 on 25 December 1972 and was buried at Lincoln Memorial Park^G.⁸ Arnold married second in Washington State^G in 1974, Wanda J Billups.⁷ Wanda was born in Brigham City, Box Elder County, Utah^G, on 2 March 1917.¹⁰
     In 1920 Arnold was living at Main Street, Winnebago^G, in the household of his parents Elihu and Amy, and was recorded in the census as Arnold Sackett, aged six and born in Minnesota.¹¹
     Arnold completed a World War II draft registration card on 16 October 1940. He was aged 27 and was living in Winnebago^G with his wife Inez.¹²
     Arnold served in the US Army during the Second World War, enlisting on 30 September 1944 and being released on 20 December 1945.¹³

Eugene Frederick Sacket, son of Frederick Gleason Sacket and Ida A Hess, was born in Pennsylvania^G on 9 February 1888.^1,2 He died aged 85 in Los Angeles County, California^G, on 1 May 1973.^3,4 He married at Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California^G, on 26 October 1921, Jean Adair Brown, daughter of William Giles Brown and Ellen Mary Raub.⁵ She was born in California^G on 3 February 1892^6,7 and died aged 76 in Los Angeles County^G on 2 November 1968.⁸

     Eugene was listed in the Pasadena City Directory from 1914 to 1921. He was a plumber, living with his parents at 350 North Raymond Avenue^G. In 1923 he and his wife Jean were living at 291 East Villa Street.¹⁰

He was aged 29, a plumber and auto mechanic, and was living at 350 North Raymond Avenue, Pasadena, Los Angeles County^G.¹¹ He enlisted on 3 October 1917 and served in the US Army during the First World War. He was released on 9 April 1919.¹²
     In 1920 he was living at North Raymond Avenue, Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California^G, in the household of his parents Fred and Ida, and was recorded as Eugene F Sacket, a plumber, aged 31, single.¹³
     Eugene was listed in the Huntington Park City Directory from 1928. He was a plumber. He and his wife Jean were living at 2918 Flower, Huntington Park^G.¹⁴
     In 1930 he was living at Flower Street, San Antonio, Los Angeles County, California^G, and was recorded as Eugene F Sacket, a plumber contractor, head of household, aged 42. He owned his home. Living with him were his wife Jean, 38, their children, Robert, 6, and Gordon, aged one, and Jean's widowed mother Ellen Brown, 76.¹⁵
