Hannah Sackett, daughter of Colonel Caleb H Sackett and Jane McMaster, was born in Candor, Tioga County, New York State^G, on 27 January 1821.¹ She died aged 68 in Belmont, Allegany County, New York State^G, on 24 January 1890² and was buried at Forest Hills Cemetery, Belmont^G.⁴ She married at Phillips Creek, Allegany County^G, on 12 November 1840, Anson Crandall Hall, son of Russell Hall and Waite Crandall.^1,3 Anson was born in New York State^G on 11 October 1819.⁴ He died aged 73 in Belmont^G on 11 January 1893⁵ and was buried at Forest Hills Cemetery, Belmont^G.⁴
     In 1850 Hannah was living in Amity, Allegany County, New York State^G, in the household of her husband Anson C Hall, 31, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Hannah Hall, aged 30 and born in New York. Living with them were their children, James, 5, Richard, 3, and Caleb, aged one. Also in the household were Hannah's mother Jane, 73, and sisters, Susan, 48, and Elizabeth, 38.⁶
     In 1860 she was living in Ward, Allegany County^G, in the household of her husband Anson Hall, 41, a farmer, and was recorded as Hannah Hall, aged 39. Living with them were their children, Richard, 13, Caleb, 11, James, 8, William, 6, Mary, 3, and Sarah, aged one. Also in the household were Hannah's sisters, Maria Sackett [Susan Maria], 58, and Elizabeth Sackett, 48, and nephew William Sackett, aged 19.⁷
     In 1870 she was living in Ward^G in the household of her husband Anson Hall, 50, a farmer, and was recorded as Hannah Hall, aged 49. Living with them were their children, Richard, 23, Caleb, 20, James, 18, Willie, 15, Mary, 13, S[arah] Addie, 11, and Nathaniel, aged nine. Also in the household were Hannah's sisters, Susan, 68, and Elizabeth, 58.⁸
     In 1880 she was living in Belmont^G in the household of her husband Anson C Hall, 60, and was recorded as Hannah Hall, aged 59. Also in the household were their daughter Addie, 20, and Addie's husband Elba Reynolds, 25, a lawyer.⁹

Susan Maria Sackett, daughter of Colonel Caleb H Sackett and Jane McMaster, was born in Tioga County, New York State^G, about 1802.¹ She died aged about 69 in Ward, Allegany County, New York State^G, on 23 September 1871 and was buried at Forest Hills Cemetery, Belmont, Allegany County^G.²
     In 1850 Susan was living in Amity, Allegany County, New York State^G, in the household of her sister Hannah and brother-in-law Anson Hall, and was recorded in the census as Susan M Sacket, aged 48 and born in New York State.³
