Edith Frances Sackett, daughter of Alfred Francis Sackett and Edith Emily Atkins, was born in Long Acre, St Giles, LondonG, on 2 May 1909.1,2 She died aged 101 years 5 months 25 days in SouthamptonG on 27 October 20103 and was cremated at Southampton Crematorium, West ChapelG, on 9 November 2010.3 She married first in Willesden, MiddlesexG, in 1933, Albert William Francis Hale.4,5 Albert was born in Southwark, LondonG, in 1908.8 He died aged 41 at home at Goldston, Jubilee Gardens, Bitterne, Southampton, HampshireG, on 30 January 1950.9 Edith was appointed administrator of Albert's estate by letters of administration granted in the Winchester Probate Registry, HampshireG, on 15 March 1950. The estate was valued at £817.10 She married second in SouthamptonG in 1950, Leonard A Dean.6,7
