William Sackett, brewery laborer, son of Robert Sackett and Mary Ann Lazell, was born in Dagenham, EssexG, on 17 May 1883.1,2 He died aged 83 in East York, Ontario, CanadaG, on 12 September 1966.3 He married in Romford, Essex, EnglandG, on 5 June 1904, Mary Ann Jackson, daughter of Alfred Thomas Jackson and Eliza Annie Dunsdon.3,4

William served in the Canadian Army during the First World War. He enlisted on 26 January 1916 in the 180th Battalion and was passed fit for service with the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force.9

Stanley Victor Sackett, son of William Sackett and Mary Ann Jackson, was born in Toronto, CanadaG, on 24 October 1918.1 He died aged 93 at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, Ontario, CanadaG, on 21 November 2011.2 He married Rossi "Dee" Wootton. She died in 2006. Stanley Sackett was formerly a resident of Leamington, Essex County, OntarioG. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was a life Deacon at First Baptist Church in Leamington.
