John Sackett
John Sackett, mariner, was born in Garlinge, Margate, KentG, in 1785.1,2 His parents have not been identified. He died aged 80 in MargateG in 18663,4 and was buried at Zion Chapel, MargateG, on 3 April 1866.3 He married at St Peter in Thanet, KentG, on 9 May 1811, Sarah Tucker.5 She was born about 1780.2 She died aged 68 in ThanetG,6 and was buried at St John in ThanetG on 17 February 1848.7
