Sarah Ann Sackett, daughter of Charles Sackett and Esther Haradine, was born in Kennington, Lambeth, SurreyG, in 18671 and baptized at St Mary's Church, LambethG, on 9 February 1868.2 She died aged 77 in St Albans, HertfordshireG, on 3 September 1944.3,4 She married at St John's Church, Brixton, SurreyG, on 24 March 1886, Thomas Henry Wilkes, son of Thomas Peter Wilkes.5,6 Thomas was born in LambethG about 1862.7 He died before 1901.7
In 1881 Sarah was living at 6 Pleasant Place, Lambeth, SurreyG, in the household of her father Charles, a general labourer, and was recorded in the census as Sarah Sackett, a scholar, aged 14, and born in Kennington, Surrey.8
In 1891 she was living at 3 Rumsey Road, LambethG, in the household of her husband Thomas Wilkes, 28, a print compositor, and was recorded as Sarah A Wilkes, aged 23. Living with them were their children, Gwendolen, 3, Charles, 2, and Dorothy, aged one. Also in the household were a female servant and a male boarder.9

Sarah left a will which was proved on 27 November 1944 by her daughter Gwendolen. The value of Sarah's estate was £90.12

Anne Elizabeth "Annie" Sackett, daughter of Robert Sackett and Mary Ann Lazell, was born in Dagenham, Essex, EnglandG, on 17 March 1869.1,2,3 She died aged 76 in Dryden, Kenora District, Ontario, CanadaG, on 20 March 19454 and was buried in Dryden CemeteryG on 22 March 1945.4 She married first at Wesleyan Chapel, Romford, EssexG, on 28 March 1887, John Henry Thomas, son of Benjamin Thomas and Philadelphia ___.5,6,7 He was born in Brede, Sussex, EnglandG, on 2 March 18572,9 and died aged 55 in Dryden, Ontario, CanadaG, on 28 September 1912.9 He died accidentally when he was hit by a train engine during a switching operation.3 She married second at St Paul's Church, Fort William, Thunder Bay District, Ontario, CanadaG, on 11 August 1913, Alfred Jeremiah "Dan" O'Leary, a stationary engineer, son of Patrick O'Leary and Ellen Hayes.3,8

Frederick Sackett, son of Ann Sackett, was born in Margate, KentG, on 6 September 18121,2 and baptized at St John in Thanet, KentG, on 14 October 1812.2 He died aged 393 and was buried at Zion Chapel, Margate, KentG, on 27 July 1852.5 He married before 1840, Mary Culmer.4 After Frederick's death, Mary married second at St John in ThanetG on 28 January 1855, William Robins Goldsack, a brewer, son of Isaac Goldsack.6,7

Robert Emmett Sackett, son of Carson Hobart Sackett and Anna Race, was born in ConnecticutG on 22 March 1897.2,3,4 He died aged 69 in Hudson, Columbia County, New York StateG, on 4 December 1966.2,5 He married about 1931, Henrietta Mary Sobocinski.2 Henrietta was born in PolandG on 19 January 1907.2
Robert was just one day old when his father Carson died.
In 1900 Robert was living at Mill Street, Hudson, Columbia County, New York StateG, in the household of his widowed mother Annie, and was recorded in the census as Robert Sackett, aged three and born in Connecticut.6
In 1910 he was living at Ronnade Hill, HudsonG, in the household of his mother Anna and stepfather George Vedder, and was recorded as Robert E Sackett, aged 14.7
Robert served as a private in the United States Army during the First World War. He enlisted in the National Guard in Hudson, New York, on 17 April 1915, and transferred to a machine-gun battalion in the 106th Infantry Regiment on 13 January 1917. He served overseas from 10 May 1918 to March 18, 1919 and was honorably discharged on 2 April 1919.8
In 1920 he was living at Fulton Street, HudsonG, and was recorded as Robt Sackett, a spinner in a cotton mill, aged 23 and single. He was a boarder in the household of a Miller family.9
In 1930 he was living at Warren Street, HudsonG, and was recorded as Robert E Sackett, unemployed, aged 31 and divorced. He was boarding in the Miller household.10
