Alfred George Sackett, son of Francis "Frank" Sackett and Jane Elizabeth Miller, was born in Ramsgate, Kent^G, in 1868^1,2 and baptized at St George's Church, Ramsgate, Kent^G, on 25 October 1868.³ He died aged 40 in Camberwell, London^G, in 1909.⁴ He married at Holy Trinity, Ramsgate^G, on 13 May 1888, Annie Marion Budge.^5,6
     In 1871 Alfred was living at 12 Bristol Place, Ramsgate, Kent^G, in the household of his parents Francis and Jane, and was recorded in the census as Alfred G Sackett, aged 2, and born in Ramsgate.⁷
     In 1881 he was living at 143 High Street, Ramsgate^G, in the household of his parents Francis and Jane, and was recorded as Alfred George Sackett, aged 13 and born in Ramsgate.⁸
     In 1891 he was living at 14 Meeting Street, Ramsgate^G, and was recorded as Alfred G Sackett, a plumber, head of household, married, aged 23 and born in Ramsgate. Living with him were his wife Annie, 23, and children, Alfred, 2, and Sidney, aged 9 months.⁹
     In 1901 he was living at 329 Kennington Road, Lambeth, London^G, and was recorded as Alfred Sackett, a self-employed paper hanger, head of household, married, aged 32 and born in Ramsgate.      Alfred made a will which was proved by his son Dennis at the Principal Probate Registry, London^G, on 17 January 1963. The estate was valued at £2,468.¹⁶

Sidney George Sackett, son of Alfred George Sackett and Annie Marion Budge, was born in Ramsgate, Kent^G, on 1 July 1890.^1,2,3 He died aged 68 at home at 85 Warwick Road, Kensington, London^G, on 16 October 1958.^4,5 He married in Kensington^G in 1928, Amy Florence Staples.^6,7 Amy was born in Dulwich, London^G, about 1888.⁸ She died aged 65 in Kensington^G in 1953.⁹
     In 1891 Sidney was living at 14 Meeting Street, Ramsgate^G, in the household of his parents Alfred and Annie, and was recorded in the census as Sidney G Sackett, aged nine months and born in Ramsgate.¹⁰
     In 1901 Sidney was living at 329 Kennington Road, Lambeth, London^G, in the household of his parents Alfred and Marion, and was recorded in the census as Sydney Sackett, aged ten and born in Ramsgate.¹¹
     Sidney attended St John the Divine School, Warham Street, Camberwell, Surrey^G, from 29 March 1904, having previously attended St Paul's School, Hammersmith. The family were then living at 40 Cowley Street. He left on 4 July 1904, at age 14, to start work.¹²
     Sidney served in the British Army during the First World War as a Sergeant in the London Regiment. He enlisted on 22 November 1915 and was discharged due to wounds on 16 April 1919. He was granted a Silver War Badge, to be worn with civilian clothes to indicate that he had been honourably discharged because of illness or injury.^13,14,15
     In 1921 he was living at 12 Bath Street, Brighton, Sussex^G, and was recorded as Sydney George Sackett, an upholsterer, aged 33. His (future) wife (Amy) Florence, 32, was living with him. They were visitors in the household of William & Ellen Boniface.¹⁶
     Administration of Sidney's estate was granted on 8 August 1959 to his brother Alfred. His estate was valued at £4,950.¹⁷

Charlotte Harriet Sackett, daughter of Stephen Sackett and Charlotte Grix, was born in Broadstairs, Kent^G, in 1867.^1,2

     In 1881 she was living at Maple House, High Street, St Peter's^G, in the household of her mother Charlotte and stepfather James Strong, and was recorded as Charlotte H. Sackett, a scholar, aged 13 and born in Broadstairs.⁴

Walter Stephen Sackett, son of Stephen Sackett and Charlotte Grix, was born in Broadstairs, Kent^G, in 1869.^1,2 He died there aged 30 in 1900^3,4 and was buried at St Peter in Thanet^G on 8 January 1900.⁴ He married in Thanet^G in 1891, Rosa Gertrude Gibbard, daughter of ___ Gibbard and ___ Kirby.^5,6 Rosa was born in Banbury, Oxfordshire^G, in 1869.⁷ After Walter's death, Rosa married second in Thanet^G in 1901, Arthur John Newing.^8,9
