Henry William Sackett, son of James William Sackett and Louisa Mary Ann Edwards, was born in Barking, EssexG, on 8 October 18951,2 and baptized at St Margaret, BarkingG, on 25 October 1895 as William Henry.3,4 He died in IraqG on 25 January 19175,6 and was buried at the Amara War Cemetery, Iraq.5
In 1901 Henry was living at 40 Creekmouth, St Margaret's, Dagenham, EssexG, in the household of his widowed mother Louisa, and was recorded in the census as William H Sackett, aged five and born in Barking.7
Henry served as a private in the Wiltshire Regiment during the First World War. He was killed in action in Iraq.8,9
