Samuel John Sackett, a bookseller, son of John Sackett and Emmeline Alice (Hibben) Myers, was born in Bermondsey, SurreyG, on 5 January 18341,2 and baptized at St Mary's Church, Newington, SurreyG, on 17 June 1840.1 He died aged 73 at home at 108 Lower Kennington Lane, Lambeth, LondonG, on 8 August 1907.3,4 He married first in St Mary, NewingtonG, on 20 February 1855, Mary Ann Gardner, daughter of Thomas Gardner.5,6,7 She was born in Croydon, SurreyG, about 18292 and died in LambethG in 1886.11 He married second at St Mary Magdalen Church, Bermondsey, LondonG, on 16 August 1891, Harriet Coe.8,9,10 She was born in Spexhall, SuffolkG, about 184912 and died aged 79 in LambethG in 1928.13
