Caroline Elizabeth Sackett, daughter of ___ Elliott and Elizabeth Ann Sackett, was born in Ramsgate, Kent^G, in 1868.^1,2 She was baptized at St Peter, Brighton^G, on 17 August 1873.³ She was recorded in the baptisms register as the daughter of George and Elizabeth Garrett. Caroline baptized a son, Albert Henry Sackett, at St Paul, Brighton, Sussex^G, on 26 June 1892, the father being recorded as Henry Sackett, a cabman.⁴ She married in Steyning, Sussex^G, in 1899, James Noble.⁵ She was recorded as Caroline Elizabeth Sackett in the marriage register. James was born in Brighton, Sussex^G, about 1874.²
     In 1871 Caroline was living at 2 Montague Place, Brighton, Sussex^G, with her widowed mother Elizabeth in the household of her grandfather Samuel Sackett, and was recorded in the census as Caroline Elliott, aged three and born in Ramsgate, Kent.⁶
     In 1881 she was living at 117 Shirley Street, Hove, Sussex^G, in the household of her mother Elizabeth and stepfather George Garrett, and was recorded as Caroline Garrett, a scholar, aged 12 and born in Ramsgate. It is not known that she had taken her stepfather's name of Garrett; the recording of Garrett rather than Elliott may have been a census error.⁷
     In 1891 she was living at 36 Westbourne Street, Aldrington, Sussex^G, in the household of her mother Elizabeth and stepfather George Garrett, and was recorded as Caroline E Sackett, a laundrymaid, single, aged 22.⁸
     In 1901 she was living at 77 Shirley Street, Hove, Sussex^G, in the household of her husband James Noble, 26, a van man at a laundry, and was recorded as Caroline Noble, aged 30. Living with them were their son James, aged one, and Caroline's widowed mother Elizabeth Garrett, aged 60.⁹

Reginald Cecil Bright, son of Edward Bright and Emily Edith Sackett, was born in Hackney, London^G, on 4 February 1916.^1,2 He died aged 86 in Waltham Forest, London^G, in 2002.³

Ernest Curl, son of John Curl and Elizabeth Mary Sackett, was born in Fulham, London^G, in 1916.¹

Doris H Euden, daughter of Arthur T Euden and Kate Amelia Sackett, was born in Milton, Kent^G, in 1917.¹
