Albert Edward Sackett, MM, son of George Robert Sackett and Caroline Edith Pillow, was born in Ramsgate, KentG, in 1895.1,2 He died aged 57 at 26 Poplar Grove, Stockport, CheshireG, on 24 February 1952.3,4 He married at Ramsgate Christ Church, KentG, on 7 July 1919, Gertrude Maud Stevens, daughter of David Franklin Stevens and Julia Anne Chapman.5,6,7 Gertrude was born in Thanet, KentG, on 12 December 1889.8 She died aged 80 in CheshireG in 1970.9
