Harry Colin Sackett, son of Vincent Edward Sackett and Elizabeth Perrett, was born in Bangalore, Madras, IndiaG, on 5 June 18941 and baptized there on 23 June 1894.1 Harry served in the First World War as a lance corporal in the Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment), sailing for France with the British Expeditionary Force in November 1914. He was killed in action, aged 22, in FranceG on 16 September 1916.2,3,4,5,6

John Sackett
John Sackett was born about 1850.1,2 He died aged 73 at the High Street Poplar Workhouse, Poplar, LondonG, in 19233,4 and was buried at the East London CemeteryG. His parents have not been identified.
