Edna Mae Sackett, daughter of Henry Stark "Harry" Sackett and Edith May Knorr, was born in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, PennsylvaniaG, on 8 March 1898.2 She died aged 58 in Rhineback, Dutchess County, New York StateG, on 18 February 19573 and was buried at Overlook Road, Poughkeepsie, Dutchess CountyG, on 20 February 1957. She married in PennsylvaniaG about 1917, Lloyd Smith.2
     In 1910 Edna was living at Woodbury Street, Hanover, Luzerne County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents Harry and Edith, and was recorded in the census as Edna Sackett, aged twelve and born in Pennsylvania.4
     In 1920 she was living at Lawrence Street, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents Henry and Edith, and was recorded as Edna M Smith, aged 22 and born in Pennsylvania. Her son Lloyd, aged one, was living with her.5

Lloyd Ezra Smith, son of Lloyd Smith and Edna Mae Sackett, was born in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, PennsylvaniaG, on 27 August 1918.1 He died aged 31 in Hyde Park, Dutchess County, New York StateG, on 13 July 19502 and was buried at LaGrange Rural Cemetery, Dutchess CountyG, on 15 July 1950.3 He married Hazel Edith Devereaux, daughter of Thomas Devereaux and Edna Lane. Hazel was born at Beacon, Dutchess County, New York StateG, on 12 November 19174 and baptized at St James Church, Hyde Park, New York StateG, on 12 November 1922.5
     In 1920 Lloyd was living at Lawrence Street, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, PennsylvaniaG, and was recorded in the census as Lloyd E Smith, aged one and born in Pennsylvania. He was living with his mother Edna in the household of her parents Henry and Edith.6
