Harvey John Sackett, also known as John Harvey Sackett, son of Perry Sackett and Roxanna Carolyn "Roxie" Sears, was born in Greene County, OhioG, on 6 February 1882.1 He died aged 78 in Dayton, Montgomery County, OhioG, on 15 June 19602 and was buried at Miami Cemetery, CorwinG.4 He married Ethel Barnett.3
     In 1910 Harvey was living in Sugar CreekG in the household of his father Perry and stepmother Maude, and was recorded in the census as Harvey J Sackett, an orchestral musician, single, aged 28 and born in Ohio.5
     Harvey completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was aged 36 and was a farmer at Sugar Creek Township. He was living at Waynesville, Warren County, OhioG.6
     In 1920 he was living in Sugar Creek TownshipG in the household of his father Perry and stepmother Maude, and was recorded as John H Sackett, a farmer, single, aged 38 and born in Ohio.7
     In 1930 he was living in Wayne Township, Warren County, OhioG, and was recorded as John H Sackett, farmer, head of household, aged 48 and born in Ohio. He owned his home and farm. Living with him were his wife Ethel, 47, their children, Roxie, 6, and John P, aged one, and Ethel's children from her previous marriage, Wade Turner, 19, and John Turner, aged 15.8

John Sackett, farmer, son of Joseph Sackett and Anna Vandolah, was born in Sugar Creek Township, Greene County, OhioG, on 11 April 1825.2 He died aged 65 in Sugar Creek TownshipG on 5 March 1891.2 He married in Bellbrook, Greene CountyG, in 1855, Mary Eliza Clevenger, daughter of Thomas Clevenger and Mary Brown.3
     In 1880 John was living at Sugar Creek TownshipG and was recorded in the census as John Sackett, a farmer, head of household, married, aged 55 and born in Ohio. Living with him were his wife Eliza, 53, and their unmarried children Laura, 23, and Perry, 20.4
