Annie May Sackett, daughter of Abraham Allen Sackett and Ellen Hancock, was born in Thorah, Ontario, Canada^G, on 20 December 1882.^1,2 She married first Frank M Watts.³ She married second at 637 Ontario Street, Toronto, York County, Ontario^G, on 25 October 1922, Daniel James McKinnon, son of John A McKinnon and Mary English.⁴ Daniel was born in Ontario^G about 1891.⁵
     In 1891 Annie was living in Beaverton, Ontario^G, in the household of her widowed father Abraham, and was recorded in the census as Annie Sacket, aged ten and born in Ontario.⁶
     In 1911 she was living in Toronto, Ontario^G, in the household of her husband Frank Watts, 31, an electrician on the Toronto railway, and was recorded as Anna Watts, aged 28 and born in Ontario. Also in the household was Anna's widowed brother John, 31.⁷

George Henry Sackett, farmer, son of Abraham Allen Sackett and Ellen Hancock, was born in Beaverton, Ontario, Canada^G, on 15 February 1885.¹ He died of tuberculosis aged 34 at Matheson, Timiskaming County, Ontario^G, on 11 May 1919.² He married in Toronto, York County, Ontario^G, on 15 July 1910, Charlotte May Luke, daughter of William Wallace Luke and Charlotte Hobbs.³ Charlotte was born about 1889.⁴
     In 1891 George was living in Beaverton, Ontario^G, in the household of his widowed father Abraham, and was recorded in the census as George Sacket, aged eight and born in Ontario.⁵
     After George's death, Charlotte married second William Smith, a laborer, son of William Smith and Elizabeth Bryden, at St John's Church, Norway, York County, Ontario^G, on 17 July 1920.⁶

Esther Sackett, daughter of Abraham Allen Sackett and Ellen Hancock, was born in Eldon, Victoria County, Ontario, Canada^G, on 20 July 1876.¹ She married in Fenelon Falls, Victoria County^G, on 18 October 1898, Thomas Boice, son of Lewis Boice and Hannah Drake.² Thomas was born in Fenelon Falls^G about 1870.³
     In 1881 Esther was living in Thorah, Ontario^G, in the household of her parents Abraham and Ellen, and was recorded in the census as Isabella {ITAL:]sic] Sackett, aged four and born in Ontario. (The recording of her in the census as Isabella would appear to have been an error.)⁴
     In 1891 she was living in Beaverton, Ontario^G, in the household of her widowed father Abraham, and was recorded as Ester Sacket, aged 15 and born in Ontario.⁵

John James Sackett, son of Abraham Allen Sackett and Ellen Hancock, was born in Thorah, Ontario, Canada^G, on 18 September 1880.^1,2 He married first Beatrice Mary Jane Wilson, daughter of Josiah Wilson and Louisa Rebecca Moynes.² Beatrice was born in Fenelon, Victoria County, Ontario^G, in August 1880.⁴ She died aged 29 in Lindsay, Victoria County^G, on 5 December 1909.⁵ He married second in Toronto, York County, Ontario^G, on 21 June 1913, Annie Maud Sharpe, daughter of Thomas Sharpe and Mary Ann Stevenson.³
     In 1881 John was living in Thorah, Ontario^G, in the household of his parents Abraham and Ellen, and was recorded in the census as John James Sackett, aged six months and born in Ontario.⁶
     In 1891 he was living in Beaverton, Ontario^G, in the household of his widowed father Abraham, and was recorded as John James Sacket, aged 12 and born in Ontario.⁷
     In 1911 he was living in Toronto, Ontario^G, in the household of his sister Anna and her husband Frank Watts, and was recorded as John Sackett, a railway repair hand, a widower aged 28 and born in Ontario.⁸
     John served in the Canadian Army during the First World War. He enlisted on 27 July 1916 in the 234th Overseas Battalion and was passed fit for service with the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force.⁹

Lucy Sackett, daughter of Abraham Allen Sackett and Ellen Hancock, was born in Mariposa, Victoria County, Ontario, Canada^G, on 30 September 1872.^1,2 She married about 1895, Henry Van Fray.
     In 1881 Lucy was living in Thorah, Ontario^G, in the household of her parents Abraham and Ellen, and was recorded in the census as Lucy Sackett, aged nine and born in Ontario.³

Mary Ann Sackett, daughter of Abraham Allen Sackett and Ellen Hancock, was born in Ontario, Canada^G, about 1878.¹ She married in Fenelon Falls, Victoria County, Ontario^G, on 18 June 1895, Charles Walton.^2,3

     In 1891 she was living in Beaverton, Ontario^G, in the household of her widowed father Abraham, and was recorded as Mary Ann Sacket, aged 13 and born in Ontario.⁵

Norman Allen Sackett, son of Abraham Allen Sackett and Ellen Hancock, was born in Beaverton, Ontario, Canada^G, on 28 June 1888¹ and died there in infancy on 12 August 1888.²

Theresa Jane Sackett, daughter of Abraham Allen Sackett and Ellen Hancock, was born in Victoria County, Ontario, Canada^G, on 31 October 1874.^1,2 She married in Toronto, Ontario^G, on 4 December 1905, Joseph Henry Webb, son of Joseph Webb and Isabella Benson.³ Joseph was born in Simcoe County, Ontario^G, about 1874.
     In 1881 Theresa was living in Thorah, Ontario^G, in the household of her parents Abraham and Ellen, and was recorded in the census as Teressa Sackett, aged six and born in Ontario.⁴
     In 1891 she was living in Beaverton, Ontario^G, in the household of her widowed father Abraham, and was recorded as Theresa Sacket, a general servant, aged 17 and born in Ontario.⁵

Sarah Mockett, daughter of John Mockett and Anne Sackett, was born in St Peter in Thanet, Kent^G, on 21 September 1651.¹ She married in St Peter in Thanet^G on 23 December 1669, Jeffrey Sandwell.²

Alanson Sacket, son of King Sacket and Lydia Sacket, was born in Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts^G, on 8 August 1763.¹ He married say 1785, Mary Loomis.²
     In 1790 Alanson was living in Egremont, Berkshire County, Massachusetts^G. In his household were 1 man, 1 boy, and 2 females. One of the females was presumably his wife Mary and the boy and other female are likely to have been children whose names have not yet been ascertained.³

Eli Sacket, son of King Sacket and Lydia Sacket, was born in Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts^G, in 1772? He died there in infancy on 15 April 1772? and was buried at Barnard Cemetery, Sheffield^G.^1,2

Waight Sacket, daughter of King Sacket and Lydia Sacket, was born in Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts^G, on 23 October 1765.¹
     No further record that can be positively identified with Waight Sacket has been found. She may have died young.
     However, census and tax records of a Wait Sacket appear in Butternuts, New York State^G, from 1800 to 1810. These would presumably have been for a male Sacket of the name. The records are included here in case a link is found. It would be possible that the child was incorrectly stated to be a daughter in the birth record. The ancestry of Wait Sacket of Butternuts is otherwise unexplained.
     Wait Sacket was listed in the census in 1800 and 1810 as a householder in Butternuts, Otsego County, New York State^G.^2,3
     He was assessed for tax on real estate valued at $550 and personal property of $25 in Butternuts^G in 1801. Further taxes were raised in 1802 and 1803.⁴

Jonathan Sackett, son of John Sackett and Hannah Smith, was born in New Haven, Connecticut^G, about 1730.¹ He died aged 67 in Woodbridge, New Haven County^G, on 13 September 1797.^2,3,4 He had an illegitimate child by Mary Ford, daughter of Daniel Ford and Elizabeth Perkins, in 1766.^3,5 He married about 1767, ___ ___. (The name of his wife is unknown but it would not have been Mary Ford as she married John Russell in 1771.)⁶
     In 1790 Jonathan was living in Woodbridge, New Haven County, Connecticut^G. In his household were one man and one female.⁷

Edwin Emmet Barnes, son of Fountain Hamilton Barnes and Mary Louisa Sackett, was born in Ashmore Township, Coles County, Illinois^G, on 2 August 1867.^1,2 He died aged 78 in Ventura County, California^G, on 17 August 1945.^1,2 He married in 1892, Frances Theresa Soules, daughter of Orson Lewis Soules and Mary Eliza Gates.^3,2 Frances was born in Canada^G on 3 August 1863² and died in Santa Barbara, California^G, on 2 April 1942.²
