John Mockett, of Ash, son of Richard Mockett and Sara Sackett, was baptized at All Saints, Birchington, Thanet, KentG, on 19 August 1621.1 He died aged 53 and was buried at St Peter in ThanetG on 10 July 1674.3 He married at St Peter in ThanetG on 14 November 1647, Anne Sackett, a second cousin, daughter of John Sackett and Mary ___.2
     John was named as a beneficiary in his father's will made at St Nicholas at WadeG on 30 December 1626. He was left a sum of £10 at 21.
