Unnamed Sackett, child of Jonathan Sackett and Mary Ford, was born in New Haven, Connecticut^G, in 1766.^1,2
     This child is the subject of a hypothesis that, if male, he may have been the Jonathan Sacket who married Lucinda Plumb in Milford, Connecticut, in 1802, and had children, Daniel in about 1803, Gad (later renamed James) in 1804, and Isaac in 1806.
     Another possibility, again if male, is that he could have been Ezra Sackett, of whom mention is found in a memoir, but for whom no other historical record has been found.

Thomas Harold Skinner, son of William Silas Skinner and Ella Sackett, was born in Jordan Valley, Malheur County, Oregon^G, on 6 March 1894.^1,2 He died aged 76 in Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho^G, on 18 October 1970³ and was buried at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell^G.⁴ He married at Jordan Valley^G on 24 June 1919, Edith Elizabeth Jones.³ Edith was born in 1893³ and died aged about 92 in 1985.³

Ernest Harold Skinner, son of Thomas Harold Skinner and Edith Elizabeth Jones, was born in Jordan Valley, Malheur County, Oregon^G, on 11 July 1922.^1,2 He died aged 28 in an aircraft accident in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Greene County, Ohio^G, on 21 September 1950.²

Charles Dean Sacket, son of Samuel Sackett and Sarah Wright, was born in 1815.¹ He died aged about 43 in 1858.¹

Edmond Howard Sackett, son of Samuel Sackett and Sarah Wright, was born in Lowville, Lewis County, New York State^G, on 6 March 1817.^1,2,3 He died aged 76 on 13 August 1893^1,3 and was buried at Chambers Cemetery, Holt County, Nebraska^G.³ He married about 1846, Matilda ___.⁴
     In 1850 he was living at Mount Gilead, Morrow County, Ohio^G, and was recorded as Edmond H Sackett, a clothier, aged 33 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Matilda, 24, and their children, Edmund, 3, and Harriet, aged one.⁵
     In 1860 he was living in Westfield, Marquette County, Wisconsin^G, and was recorded as Edmond H Sacket, M E Minister, aged 43 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Matilda, 35, and their children, Edmond, 13, Amelia, 5, William, 1 [? he would have been 11], and Mary, aged nine months.⁶
     In 1870 he was living at Black Earth, Dane County, Wisconsin^G, and was recorded as Edmund H Sackett, a farmer, aged 53 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Matilda, 45, and their children, Edward, 23 (with his wife Jane, 22, and daughter Grace, aged two months), William, 20, Amelia, 15, and Mary, aged ten.⁷
     In 1880 he was living at Black Earth, Dane County, Wisconsin^G, and was recorded as E H Sackett, a mechanic, head of household, married, aged 63 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Matilda, 54, and their children, William, 28, Amelia, 24, Mary, 21, and Cora, aged seven.⁸

Polly Wright Sackett, daughter of Samuel Sackett and Sarah Wright, was born in Lowville, Lewis County, New York State^G, on 13 April 1819.¹ She died aged 45 in Lowville^G on 8 April 1865.² She married in Lowville, Lewis County, New York State^G, on 19 January 1841, Harvey Weller, son of Silas Weller and Nancy Bush.² Harvey was born in Lowville^G on 9 February 1815.² He died aged 68 in Lowville^G on 4 March 1883.¹

Hester Ann Sacket, daughter of Samuel Sackett and Sarah Wright, was born in 1821.¹ She died aged 20 in West Martinsburgh, Lewis County, New York State^G, on 6 July 1841.¹

John Dempster Sackett, son of Samuel Sackett and Sarah Wright, was born in Lewis County, New York State^G, on 22 November 1822.^1,2,3 He died aged 70 in Saranac, Ionia County, Michigan^G, on 12 May 1893^4,5 and was buried at Saranac Cemetery, Ionia County, Michigan^G.² He married first in Lowville, Lewis County, New York State^G, on 25 December 1845, Clarissa Searl.⁶ Clarissa was born about 1824.⁷ She died aged 23 on 22 May 1847 and was buried at the City Cemetery, Norwich, New London County, Connecticut^G.^8,9,10 He married second in Fayetteville, Onondaga County, New York State^G, in 1852, Sylvia A Wheelock.¹ Sylvia was born in Jefferson County, New York State^G, on 26 April 1821.^3,11 She died aged 52 on 14 August 1873 and was buried at Saranac Cemetery^G.² He married third Lucinda B Arthur, daughter of William Arthur and Mary Bostwick.³ Lucinda was born in New York State^G on 20 October 1838.^3,12 She died aged 88 at the Ionia County Home, Berlin, Ionia County, Michigan^G, on 20 December 1926 and was buried at Saranac Cemetery^G.¹³
     In 1855 John was living in Mexico, Oswego County, New York State^G, and was recorded in the census as John D Sackett, a pedlar, aged 33 and born in Lewis County. Living with him were his second wife, Sylvia, 33, John's daughter Clarissa, 8, and John's widowed mother Sarah, 64.¹⁴
     In 1860 he was living in Boston, Ionia County, Michigan^G, and was recorded as John D Sackett, a clerk, aged 32 [actually 37] and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Sylvia, 33 [actually 39], John's daughter Clarissa, 13, and John's mother Sarah, 61 [actually 68].¹⁵
     John registered for the Civil War draft in Michigan^G in June 1863 or July 1863. He was a laborer of Boston, Michigan, aged 40 and was registered lame.¹⁶
     In 1870 he was living in Saranac, Ionia County, Michigan^G, and was recorded as John D Sacket, a speculator, aged 41 [actually 47]. Living with him were his wife, 42 [actually 49], and their daughter Dolly, aged six.¹⁷
     In 1880 he was living in Saranac, Ionia County, Michigan^G, and was recorded as John D Sackett, a dealer in agriculture implements, head of household, married, aged 50 [actually 57]. Living with him were his third wife Lucinda, 40, and Lucinda's widowed mother, Mary Arthur, 67.¹⁸
     John died intestate. Administration of his estate was granted in 1893 by the Probate Court, Ionia County, to his widow, Lucinda B Sackett. She and John's daughter, Clara A Davis, then living in Wisconsin, were the sole heirs. They agreed between them that Clara should receive $1,225, with Lucinda receiving the balance of estate of some $3,000, including John and Lucinda's homestead in Saranac.¹⁹
     In 1900 John's widow Lucinda, aged 61, was living at Boston, Ionia County, Michigan^G. Her widowed mother Mary, 88, was living with her.²⁰

Lyman Sackett, son of Samuel Sackett and Sarah Wright, was born in Harrisburg, Lewis County, New York State^G, between 1824 and 1825.¹ He died aged about 49 in Cherry Grove, Goodhue County, Minnesota^G, on 28 August 1873.¹

Darius Sacket, son of Samuel Sackett and Sarah Wright, was born in 1827.¹ He died aged about 23 in Preston, New London County, Connecticut^G, in 1850.²

Curtis Sacket, son of Samuel Sackett and Sarah Wright, was born in 1827.¹ He died aged about 23 on 27 August 1850.¹
