Alonzo Sackett, son of Chauncey Sackett and Polly ___, was born in Addison County, Vermont^G, in May 1818.¹ He died in Bellevue, Eaton County, Michigan^G, on 10 July 1896.¹ He married first about 1854, Maria ___.² He married second in Eaton County, Michigan^G, on 16 July 1865, Jane C Church.¹ Jane was born in Michigan^G about 1847.³
     In 1850 Alonzo was living in Bellevue, Eaton County, Michigan^G, in the household of George Hyer, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Alonzo Sackett, a farmer, aged 32. His widowed mother Polly, 57, was living with him.⁴
     In 1860 he was living in Bellevue^G and was recorded as Alonzo Sackett, a farmer, aged 42 and born in Vermont. Living with him were his wife Maria, 23, and their children, Ida, 5, and Emma, aged two. Also in the household was Alonzo's mother Polly, 68.⁵
     In 1870 he was living in Bellevue^G and was recorded as Alonzo Sackett, a farmer, aged 52 and born in Vermont. Living with him were his second wife Jane, 23, and his children by his first marriage, Ida, 15, Emma, 12, and Chauncey, aged seven.⁶

Chauncey B Sackett, son of Alonzo Sackett and Maria ___, was born in Bellevue, Eaton County, Michigan^G, on 12 April 1863.¹ He died there aged 70 on 1 May 1933 and was buried at Bellevue Cemetery^G.¹ He married in Michigan^G in 1882, Lura Jane Crowell, daughter of George W Crowell and Climena A Day.¹ Lura was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan^G, on 3 February 1865.¹ She died aged 66 in Bellevue^G on 27 February 1931.¹

Living with them were their children, Mona, 18, Martha, 15, Norma, 13, Vaughan, 7, and Wendell, aged five.³
