Johan Saget
Johan Saget, of St Peter in Thanet, Kent, was born presumably in the mid-1400s.
Johan made her will at St Peter in Thanet in 1511/12.1 It may be assumed that the name was Sackett although there are no clues in the content of the will to support this. As far as is known, there was not a separate name "Saget" (but see also John Sagett) and it is likely that this was how the writer heard the spoken name. It is not known whether she was a Sackett descendant or a Sackett widow. The detail of the will does not suggest that she would have been Jone the widow of John Sakett or Joan the widow of Robert Sakett of St Peter in Thanet.
