Sarah Sackett, daughter of Captain & Deacon Samuel Sackett and Elisabeth Todd, was born in New Haven, ConnecticutG, on 9 April 1730.1,2,3,4 She died aged 71 on 19 May 1801 and was buried at the Montowese Cemetery, North HavenG.4 She married in New HavenG on 25 June 1752, Daniel Barnes, son of Daniel Barnes and Abigail Heaton.4,5,6 Daniel was born in New HavenG in November 1725.7 He died aged 83 on 20 April 1809 and was buried at Montowese Cemetery, North HavenG.7
     Weygant, The Sacketts of America, states that Sarah married Samuel Moulthrop. A record for this has not been found. It would appear to be in error as Sarah was 22 when she married Dan Barnes and she predeceased him.8

Solomon Sackett, of New Haven and Norfolk, Connecticut, son of Captain & Deacon Samuel Sackett and Lydia Heaton, was born in New HavenG on 28 April 1748.1,2,3,4 He died aged 75 in Norfolk, Litchfield CountyG, on 8 August 18233,4 and was buried at Benedict Cemetery, NorfolkG.7 He married first before 1770, Mary ___.3 Mary was born about August 1748.3,8 She was admitted to the First Congregational Church, North HavenG, on 26 June 1774.9 She died aged 36 in North HavenG on 24 December 178410 and was buried at the Old Graveyard, North HavenG.3,11 He married second at North HavenG on 12 February 1787, Ruth Hull, daughter of Benjamin Hull and Amy Hill.3 Ruth was born in New HavenG on 27 November 1763.3 She died aged 25 in North HavenG on 13 June 178912 and was buried at the Old Graveyard, North HavenG.3 He married third at North HavenG on 1 September 1790, Ruth Turner.3,5 Ruth was born about 1755.3 She died aged 41 in North HavenG on 20 March 179613 and was buried at the Old Graveyard, North HavenG.3,14 He married fourth at North HavenG on 10 September 1797, Miriam Davis.3 Miriam was born about 1764.8 She died aged 42 in Sandisfield, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, on 10 August 180615 and was buried at Benedict Cemetery, NorfolkG.16 He married fifth in ConnecticutG in 1808, Thankful Butler.6 Thankful was born about 1758.8 She died aged 73 on 29 April 1832 and was buried at Benedict Cemetery, NorfolkG.17
     Solomon was admitted to the First Congregational Church, North HavenG, on 5 March 1775.18
     In 1790 Solomon was living in North Haven, New Haven County, ConnecticutG. In his household were one man, two boys, and four females.19
     Solomon was listed in the 1800 census as a householder in Southfield, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG.20 In 1820 he was a householder in Sandisfield, Berkshire CountyG.21

256. Solomon Sackett, 1748–1828, of New Haven and Norfolk, Conn., son of (73) Capt. Samuel Sackett, was twice married. He and both of his wives are buried in the "North End Cemetery," at Norfolk. Several of their descendants resided in 1904, in the adjoining town of Colebrook.
