Franklin Dee Wells Sr, son of William Earnest Wells and Fleeta Marie Sackett, was born in Springfield, Bingham County, IdahoG, on 19 October 1933.1 He died aged 81 in Blackfoot, Bingham CountyG, on 17 February 20151 and was buried at Grove City Cemetery, BlackfootG.2 He married on 1 November 1955, Vera Francis Frasure.1 Vera was born in Fort Hall, Bingham County, IdahoG, on 8 February 1937.1 She died aged 83 on 23 March 2020 and was buried at Grove City Cemetery, Blackfoot, Bingham CountyG.2

Franklin Dee Wells, 81, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away from a lingering illness, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at his home, where he wanted to be. He was born on October 19, 1933 to William Ernest Wells and Fleeta Marie Sackett Wells in Springfield, Idaho. Dee joined the family of siblings, Verien Wells (deceased), Orlan Wells, Bonnie Jean Sampson (deceased), LaVerta Brown(deceased) and Earl Leroy Wells(deceased). Two years ago he met another older sister, Jean Poulsen, and this was a blessing he cherished. On November 1, 1955, he married Vera Francis Frasure in Ely, Nevada.
Dee worked for Bannock Paving in Pocatello for 35 years. He was a retired teamster. He developed many lifelong friends during his employment and for several years after his retirement he liked to stop at the shop and pass the time with his friends. He joined the Navy in 1952 serving on the USS Essex during the Korean War. He was very proud of his time in the service and had many stories to tell of visiting Japan, Philippines, and Hawaii.
Dee loved his family and was great example to them, teaching them all about working hard and enjoying life. The family enjoyed many fishing and camping trips to Little Lost, Mackay, and Weston. He was especially proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren and always had a smile and a hug for them. He called them his angels and honestly believed they were all angels. He was always willing to help anytime any of them needed him.
He is survived by his wife, Vera (Brownie); and his four children, Fran (Jenny) Wells, of Pocatello, Bill (Lisa) Wells, LeAnn (Bill) Verlanic, Kevin (Shawna) Wells all of Blackfoot; 15 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2015 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. Family will meet with friends and relatives from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015 and for one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Vera Francis Frasure Wells (Brownie) was born February 8, 1937 to Elijah L. and Martha Slone Frasure in the family home in Fort Hall, Idaho. Brownie passed away on May 23, 2020.
She grew up in Tyhee and attended Tyhee Elementary and Pocatello Junior High School. Brownie married Franklin Dee Wells November 1, 1955 in Ely, Nevada. To this union, four children were born: Franklin Dee Jr., William Ernest, LeAnn and Kevin Ray Wells.
Brownie worked at Idaho Supreme and was a well-known cook at Stan’s, Elks and Martha’s restaurants. Martha’s was owned by her brother and sister and sold to her niece, Pam and was named after their mother Martha.
q Brownie came from a large family and was extremely close to her siblings. Family meant a great deal to her and she ensured that everyone was included in her life. It did not matter if it was one of her children, grandchildren or great grandchildren, they were always welcome in dad and moms house and treated equally. She loved to go camping and fishing with her family at Little Lost, Mackay and Weston. She enjoyed watching her grandkids and great grandkids at every opportunity. She cherished those memories and talked a lot about those grandkids until her death.
Brownie is survived by her children, Frank (Jen) Wells of Pocatello, Bill (Lisa) Wells, LeAnn (Bill) Verlanic and Kevin (Shawna) Wells, all of Blackfoot; her sister Nancy Pendlebury; 15 grandkids and 32 great grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Dee Wells; her parents Elijah and Martha; her siblings Mae Stoddard, Opal Cook, June, Charlene, Bill Frasure, Nadine Dyer, Pat Davis, Everett, Margaret and Tom Frasure.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the Hawker Funeral Home. The family will meet with friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2020 at the funeral home and again for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Grove City Cemetery.

St Pancras School was a home and school for orphans and pauper children. It could take up to 400 boys and 250 girls. The boys were educated with a view to their becoming apprentices, many going into the army or navy as musicians. The girls were usually sent into domestic service.

Maria Sackett, daughter of Capt Joel Sackett and Lydia Todd, was born in ConnecticutG in 1798.1 She died aged about 84 in Owego, Tioga County, New York StateG, on 25 June 18822,3 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, OwegoG.5 She married about 1815, Harvey Smith, son of Dr Amos Smith and Christiana Phelps.2,4 Harvey was born in Sandisfield, MassachusettsG, on 10 May 17962,6 and died aged 80 in Owego, Tioga CountyG, on 12 July 1876.2,3
