Lucretia S Sackett, daughter of Hiram Sackett and Millicent Smith, was born in New York StateG in 1836.1,2 She married in Gowanda, Cattaraugus County, New York StateG, in 1854, Ebenezer B Slocum, son of Eleazer Slocum and Sarah Honey.3
     In 1850 Lucretia was living in Hanover, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, in the household of her parents Hiram and Millicent, and was recorded in the census as Lucretia Sackette, aged 13 and born in New York.4
     In 1880 she was living in Sciota, Dakota County, MinnesotaG, in the household of her husband Ebenezer, a farmer, aged 48 and born in New York, and was recorded as Lucrecia Slocum, aged 43 and born in New York. Living with them was their daughter, Sarah Milicent, aged three. Also in the household were two farm laborers and a female domestic servant.5

George Sackett, son of Hiram Sackett and Millicent Smith, was born in Irving, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, in February 1850.1,2 He married Catherine Burmaster.1
     In 1850 George was living in Hanover, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Hiram and Millicent, and was recorded in the census as George Sackette, aged one and born in New York.3
     In 1860 he was living in Irving, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Hiram and Millicent, and was recorded as George Sackett, aged eleven and born in New York.4
     In 1870 he was living in HanoverG in the household of his parents Hiram and Millicent, and was recorded as George Sackett, a laborer on the family farm, aged 21.5
     In 1880 he was living in Irving, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Hiram and Millicent, and was recorded as George Sacket, a farm laborer, aged 31 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Catherine, 23, and their children, Nellie, 4, and Howard, aged nine months.6
     In 1900 he was living in Hanover, Chautauqua CountyG, and was recorded as George Sackett, a farmer, head of household, born February 1850 in New York, married 24 years. His home was owned on a mortgage. Living with him were his wife Catherine, 43, and their children, Nellie, 23, Howard, 21, Cora, 17, Lulu, 16, Gertrude, 13, Edna, 9, Mildred, 6, Herbert, 5, and Clayton, aged two. Also in the household were George's father Hiram, aged 89, and mother Milicent, aged 83.7
     In 1930 George's widow Catherine was living in Irving Village, Hanover, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, and was recorded in the census as Catherine Sackett, head of household, a widow, aged 70. She owned her home. Living with her were her married children, Nellie Phelan, 53, and Howard Sackett, 45, and Howard's son Nelson, 19.8
