     In 1900 Myrtle was living at Ruby Avenue, Independence, Jackson County, Missouri^G, in the household of her parents Henry and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Myrtle Sackett, aged eight and born in Utah.²

Nathaniel Baldwin Sackett, son of Nathaniel Sackett and Elizabeth Gray, was born in New York State^G on 7 May 1817¹ and died aged 69 in Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, on 13 August 1886.¹ He was buried in the Union Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Olmsted County^G.¹ He married first in New York State^G on 17 May 1835, Olive Agnes Henry.¹ She was born on 19 March 1818¹ and died aged 27 in New York State^G on 29 November 1845.¹ He married second in New York State^G after 1845, Agnes Mary Young.¹
     In 1880 Nathaniel was living in Pleasant Grove, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, and was recorded in the census as N B Sacket, a farmer, head of household, married, aged 63 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Agnes, aged 61 and born in Scotland, their unmarried children, Ellen, 25, James, 29, and Robert, 20, their granddaughter, Mary Lambert, 17, and their grandson, Winnie Lambert, aged seven.²

Nathaniel Baldwin Sackett, son of Robert Nathaniel Sackett and Anetta Eva "Nettie" Hopkins, was born in Stewartville, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, on 22 May 1886.¹ He died aged 101 in Venice, Sarasota County, Florida^G, on 28 May 1987.^1,2 He married in Stewartville^G on 29 March 1910, Mina Gertrude Gerlinger, daughter of John Gerlinger and Frances Schmidt.³ Mina was born in Red Wing, Goodhue County, Minnesota^G, on 22 February 1890 and died aged 92 in York, York County, Pennsylvania^G, on 13 April 1982.³
     In 1900 Nathaniel was living at Pleasant Grove, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, in the household of his parents Robert and Nettie, and was recorded in the census as N B Sackett, at school, aged 14 and born in Minnesota.⁴
     In 1920 Nathaniel was living at 51st Street, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa^G, and was recorded in the census as N B Sackett, a sports goods salesman, head of household, aged 33. He owned his home on a mortgage. Living with him were his wife Mina, 29, and their children, Wilma, 9, Bruce, 6, Lloyd, 3, and Keith, aged one.⁵
     In 1930 Mina was living at Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania^G, and was recorded as Mina Sackett, head of household, aged 40. Her children, Wilma, 19, Bruce, 17, Lloyd, 13, and Keith, aged eleven, were living with her.⁶

Nellie May Sackett, daughter of Robert Nathaniel Sackett and Anetta Eva "Nettie" Hopkins, was born in Stewartville, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, on 1 September 1889.¹ She died aged 92 on 3 July 1982.¹ She married first Hiram Griffith. She married second after 1930, Harold Patterson.^1,2
     In 1900 Nellie was living at Pleasant Grove, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, in the household of her parents Robert and Nettie, and was recorded in the census as Nellie M Sackett, at school, aged ten and born in Minnesota.³
     In 1930 Nellie was living at Eighth Avenue South East, Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, in the household of her brother Leslie and sister-in-law Elvira, and was recorded in the census as Nellie Griffiths, a saleslady in a bookstore, a widow, aged 41 and born in Minnesota.⁴

Raymond Robert "Ray" Sackett, son of Charles Sackett and Emma C. Roberts, was born in Chatfield, Fillmore County, Minnesota^G, on 11 August 1877.² He died aged 79 in Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, on 24 December 1956² and was buried at the Saratoga Cemetery, Winona County, Minnesota^G.² He married in Minnesota^G on 20 January 1900, Emma Pauline Lambrecht, daughter of Carl Lambrecht and Pauline Bannick.²
     In 1880 Raymond was living in Chatfield, Fillmore County, Minnesota^G, in the household of his parents Charles and Emma, and was recorded in the census as Ray Sackett, aged two and born in Minnesota.³
     Raymond completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was aged 41 and was a farmer living in St Charles Township, Winona County, Minnesota^G, with his wife Emma.⁴

Robert Ara Sackett, son of Robert Nathaniel Sackett and Anetta Eva "Nettie" Hopkins, was born in Stewartville, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, on 25 March 1883. He died aged 86 in Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, on 4 July 1969. He married in Minnesota^G in 1909, Gertrude Dobson. Gertrude was born in England^G on 26 May 1886.¹ She died aged 83 in Olmsted County^G on 15 February 1970.²
     In 1900 Robert was living at Pleasant Grove, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, in the household of his parents Robert and Nettie, and was recorded in the census as Robert A Sackett, a farm laborer, aged 17 and born in Minnesota.³
     In 1910 he was living at Pleasant Grove, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, and was recorded as R Ara Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 27. His wife Gertrude, 23, was living with him.⁴

     In 1930 he was living at Pleasant Grove^G and was recorded as Ara R Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 47. He owned his home. Living with him were his wife Gertrude, 44, and their children, Cyril, 19, and Lois, aged 16.⁷

Robert Clyde Sackett, son of William Webster Sackett and Catherine Louise Splaine, was born in Lanesboro, Fillmore County, Minnesota^G, on 19 August 1866.¹ He married about 1895, Clara Weed.² Clara was born in Minnesota^G in August 1875.²
     In 1870 Robert was living in Lanesboro, Fillmore County, Minnesota^G, in the household of his parents William and Catherine, and was recorded in the census as Robert Sacket, aged four and born in Minnesota.³
     In 1880 he was living in Lanesboro^G in the household of his parents William and Catherine, and was recorded as Clyde Sackett, a clerk in a railroad office, aged 13.⁴
     In 1900 he was living at Third Street, Carrolton Township, Fillmore County^G, and was recorded as Clyde Sackett, agent for a harvesting company, head of household, aged 33 and born in Minnesota. He owned his house free of mortgage. Living with him were his wife Clara, 24, and their son Fred, aged three.⁵
     R C Sacket was a member of the Old Settlers’ Association of Fillmore County^G.⁶

Robert Franklin "Frank" Sackett, a craneman, son of Henry Preston Sackett and Mary Martha Barkley, was born in Minnesota^G on 27 September 1875.¹ He died aged 74 in Idaho Falls, Bonneville County, Idaho^G, on 2 May 1950¹ and was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho^G, on 5 May 1950.² He married first at Pleasant View, Utah^G, on 14 May 1902, Mary Jane "Jennie" Baum, daughter of Jacob Harris Baum and Melinda Ann Cummings.¹ Mary was born in Provo, Utah^G, on 19 September 1875¹ and died aged 27 at Pleasant View^G on 2 February 1903.¹ He married second in Salt Lake City, Utah^G, on 14 March 1904, Lillie May Meldrum, daughter of James Lowe Meldrum and Jane Hannah Haws.¹ Lillie was born in Provo, Utah^G, on 27 October 1876.¹ She died aged 66 on 2 July 1970 and was buried at Placentia, Orange County, California^G.¹
     In 1880 Robert was living at Cawker, Mitchell County, Kansas^G, in the household of his parents Henry and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Frank Sackett, aged four and born in Minnesota.³
     In 1910 he was living at Upper Bingham, Salt Lake County, Utah^G, and was recorded as Frank Sacket, a steamshovel craneman, head of household, aged 33, married six years and born in California. He rented the family home. Living with him were his wife Lillie, 33, and their children, Fleeta, 5, Harold, 3, and Genevieve, aged one. Also in the household was a male lodger, a railroad engineer.⁴

Robert Nathaniel Sackett, son of Nathaniel Baldwin Sackett and Agnes Mary Young, was born in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin^G, on 23 September 1859¹ and died aged 56 in Stewartville, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, on 10 October 1915.¹ He married in Minnesota^G on 8 March 1882, Anetta Eva "Nettie" Hopkins, daughter of Collver Michel Hopkins and Sarah Louise Harris.¹ Anetta was born in Cummingsville, Olmsted County^G, on 27 February 1864¹ and died aged 85 in Rochester, Olmsted County^G, on 10 February 1950.¹
     In 1880 Robert was living in Pleasant Grove, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, in the household of his parents Nathaniel and Agnes, and was recorded in the census as Robt. Sacket, at home, single, aged 20 and born in Wisconsin.²
     In 1900 he was living at Pleasant Grove, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, and was recorded as Robert N Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 49. He owned his farm on a mortgage. Living with him were his wife Nettie, 36, and their children, Robert, 17, Homer, 14, Nathaniel, 14, Clara, 11, Nellie, 10, Ellie, 8, Lester, 6, Leslie, 4, and Mary, aged ten months.³
     In 1910 he was living at Pleasant Grove^G and was recorded as Robert N Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 50. He owned his farm free of mortgage. Living with him were hiis wife Nettie, 46, and their children, Lester, 16, Leslie, 14, and Mary, aged ten.⁴

William Walker Sackett, son of Nathaniel Sackett and Polly Odle, was born in Herkimer County, New York State^G, on 16 May 1813.^1,2 He died in Chatfield, Fillmore County, Minnesota^G, on 4 June 1893 and was buried at Lanesboro Cemetery, Fillmore County^G.³ He married in Panama, Harmony Township, Chautauqua County, New York State^G, on 19 October 1835, Polly Ann Nash, daughter of Jacob Nash and Mary Nichols.³ Polly was born in Orleans County, New York State^G, on 7 April 1813² and died in Chatfield^G on 16 February 1900.
     William was listed in the 1840 census as a householder in Harmony, Chautauqua County, New York State^G.⁴
     In 1850 William was living in Harmony^G and was recorded in the census as Wm Sackett, a blacksmith, aged 38 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Polly, 38, and their children, William, 14, Mary, 13, Martha, 11, Maria, 10, James, 6, Cynthia, 4, and Charles, aged two.⁵
     In 1855 he was living in Harmony^G and was recorded as William Sackett, a blacksmith, aged 44 and born in Herkimer County. Living with him were his wife Polly, 44, and their children, William, 19, Mary, 18, Maria, 14, James, 11, Cynthia, 9, Charles, 6, and Cassius, aged seven months.⁶
     In 1860 he was living in Harmony^G and was recorded as William Sacket, a blacksmith, aged 47. Living with him were his wife Polly, 47, and their children, William, 24, Mary Ann, 23, Maria, 19, James, 16, Cynthia, 14, Charles, 11, and Cassius, aged five.⁷

William Webster Sackett, son of William Walker Sackett and Polly Ann Nash, was born in Harmony, Chautauqua County, New York State^G, on 13 January 1836.^1,2 He died aged 77 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota^G, on 24 August 1913 and was buried at Lanesboro Cemetery, Lanesboro, Fillmore County, Minnesota^G.^4,5 He married in Minnesota^G on 2 February 1864, Catherine Louise Splaine, daughter of Robert Splaine and Ann Read.³ Catherine was born in England^G on 17 March 1845.⁴ She died aged 77 in Hennepin County, Minnesota^G, on 9 March 1923 and was buried at Lanesboro Cemetery^G.⁴
     In 1850 William was living in Harmony, Chautauqua County, New York State^G, in the household of his parents William and Polly, and was recorded in the census as William Sackett, aged 14 and born in New York.⁶
     In 1855 he was living in Harmony^G in the household of his parents William and Polly, and was recorded as Wm W Sackett, a blacksmith, aged 19 and born in Chautauqua County.⁷
     William was the first teacher at the school established in Fillmore Village, Fillmore County, Minnesota^G, in 1857. The school had seven or eight pupils and was housed in a log hut.⁸
     According to an 1860 census record, William was then living in Harmony^G in the household of his parents William and Polly and was listed as William W Sacket, a blacksmith, aged 24.⁹ This record would appear to contradict the historical record that he was teaching school in Fillmore, Minnesota, in 1857. However, a further census record taken in Chatfield, Fillmore County^G, in 1860 surely also refers to this William Sackett and may explain the apparent discrepancy. In this record, William is listed as a blacksmith, aged 24, and born in New York. A Mary A Sackett, 22, is living with him. The 1860 census does not record relationships but, rather than assuming that this would have been his wife, it would be consistent with other records to conclude that this was his sister. William's occupation as a blacksmith would seem at odds with starting a school but his sister Mary was a teacher (1855 census). Regarding William's census listing in two remote places, it is noted that it was not entirely unusual for adult children to be enumerated in a family home even when they had removed elsewhere.¹⁰
     William served the Union during the American Civil War. He enlisted, aged 25, as a Private in Captain J W Bishop's Company "A", Second Regiment of Minnesota Volunteers in Chatfield, Fillmore County^G, on 26 June 1861 and was discharged after eleven months' service on 6 June 1862.^11,12 In June 1863, aged 27, he re-registered for the Civil War draft in Chatfield^G.^13,14 He re-enlisted, was wounded in the Battle of Chickamauga, Georgia, on 20 September 1863 and was mustered out due to disability on 6 June 1864.¹⁵
     In 1870 he was living in Lanesboro, Fillmore County^G, and was recorded as William Sacket, a blacksmith, aged 33. Living with him were his wife Catherine, 25, and their children, Leona, 5, Robert, 4, and Clifton, aged one.¹⁶
     In 1880 he was living in Lanesboro^G and was recorded as William Sackett, a worker in a flour mill, head of household, married, aged 43 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Catharine, 35, and their children, Lorena, 15, Clyde, 13, Clifton, 11, Maud, 7, Kittie, 4, and Martha, aged one. Also in the household was another Catharine Splaine (presumably a sister-in-law of William's wife Catherine) with her three young children.¹⁷
     William filed for a Civil War invalidity pension in Minnesota^G on 5 March 1887.¹⁸
     William was a justice of the peace in Lanesboro^G from 1893 to 1905.¹⁹
     In 1900 he was living in Carrolton, Fillmore County^G, and was recorded as Wm W Sackett, aged 64. Living with him were his wife Katharine, 55, and their unmarried daughters, Katharine [Kathleen], 23, and Theresa, 21.²⁰
     In 1910 he was living at Twelfth Avenue, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota^G, and was recorded as William W Sackett, aged 73. Living with him were his wife Katherine, 65, their unmarried daughters, Maud, 36, and Katherine, 33, and a nephew Robert Hawley, 24.²¹
     Catherine filed for a Civil War widow's pension in Minnesota^G on 8 September 1913.¹⁸
