Israel Coleman, son of Israel Coleman and Ann Sackett, was baptized at St Nicholas at Wade, Kent^G, on 9 October 1698.¹ He married at Birchington, Kent^G, on 24 December 1733, Ann Castle.^2,3 She was born in 1710.²

Ethel Longley, daughter of Frank H Longley and Mary Jane Wright, was born say 1890. She married Albert Johnson.¹

Gladys Johnson, daughter of Albert Johnson and Ethel Longley, was born say 1920. She married Cornelius Keely.¹

Werien/Warren J Sackett, whose parents have not been identified, was born in Massachusetts^G about 1794.¹ He died in Sherwood Township, Branch County, Michigan^G, on 22 August 1851¹ and was buried at Sherwood Cemetery, Branch County, Michigan^G.³ He married in Jackson County, Michigan^G, on 3 December 1835, Betsey Elizabeth Showers.^1,2 She was born in Ontario County, New York State^G, about 1815¹ and died in Los Gatos, Santa Clara County, California^G, on 21 February 1885.¹
     Warren bought 80 acres of land in Jackson County^G on 30 May 1837.⁴
     In 1850 Warren was living in Concord, Jackson County, Michigan^G, and was recorded in the census as Warren Sackett, a farmer, aged 56 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Betsey, 35, and their children, Frances, 18, Abigail, 11, Jacob, 10, and George, aged four.⁵
Research note
DNA test results for Warren Sackett's gg-grandson, Glenn Sackett, match those of participants with well-documented ancestries linking back to Simon Sackett the colonist and, through him, to Thomas Sackett the elder of Thanet, Kent.
     It may be concluded that Warren was a descendant of Thomas Sackett the elder, or at least shared a common ancestor with him. Although not proved, it is likely that Warren was a descendant of Simon Sackett the colonist.
     Candidates for Warren's parents are Solomon Sacket and his wife Betsey Kellogg who were married in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, in 1793. The Kellogg Genealogy states that this couple were childless. But two children, a boy and a girl, are listed in Solomon's household in 1800 and 1810. The children were aged 10 to 15 in the 1810 census, fitting with Solomon and Betsey's marriage date. DNA test results for Warren's descendant, Joe Grokett, that may support this hypothesis are being evaluated.

George Warren Sackett Sr, son of Werien/Warren J Sackett and Betsey Elizabeth Showers, was born in Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan^G, about 1846.¹ He died, probably in Esmeralda County, Nevada^G, in 1875 or 1876.¹ He married at Coldwater, Branch County, Michigan^G, on 13 April 1866, Julia A Henry.¹ She was born in Portage County, Ohio^G, about 1847.¹ He died in Michigan or Nevada.¹
     In 1850 George was living in Concord, Jackson County, Michigan^G, in the household of his parents Warren and Betsey, and was recorded in the census as George Sackett, aged four and born in Michigan.²

George Warren Sackett Jr, son of George Warren Sackett Sr and Julia A Henry, was born in Newberg, Cass County, Michigan^G, on 20 December 1869.¹ He married at San Jose, Santa Clara County, California^G, on 12 January 1891, Estella Davis.¹ She was born in Anamosa, Jones County, Iowa^G, on 5 June 1858.¹ He died in San Francisco, California^G.¹

Clara May Sackett, daughter of George Warren Sackett Jr and Estella Davis, was born in Mountain View, Santa Clara County, California^G, on 20 September 1891.¹ She died in Novato, Marin County, California^G, on 21 September 1980.¹ She married at Oakland, Alameda County, California^G, on 24 November 1910, George William Grokett I.¹ He was born in Altoona, Wilson County, Kansas^G, on 17 August 1888.¹ He died in Sacramento, California^G.¹

George William Grokett II, son of George William Grokett I and Clara May Sackett, was born in Oakland, Alameda County, California^G, on 13 September 1911.¹ He died in San Pablo, California^G, on 30 October 1964.¹ He married at Reno, Nevada^G, on 14 January 1939, Vivian Valley Martin.¹ She was born in San Jose, California^G, on 16 August 1921.¹
