     The only reference found for Adner Sackett is that in Francis Trowbridge's Trowbridge Genealogy, History of the Trowbridge family in America, published by the author in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1908. According to this history, Dr James Trowbridge (1792–1846) "married March 3, 1816, in Western (now Warren), Mass., Olive Sackett, dau of Adner and Mary (Barker) Sackett."
