     In 1930 he was living at Stone Street, Watertown, Jefferson County, New York State^G, and was recorded as Martin Sackett, head of household, aged 76. He rented his home. His wife Marion, 66, was living with him.¹⁴
     Martin and Marion were listed in the Miami Directory in 1942, living at 1535 SW 2nd Street, Miami, Florida^G. Their son Russell was living with them.¹⁵

Frederick Brown Sackett, merchant, son of Russell R Sackett and Deborah Brown, was born in South Plymouth, Chenango County, New York State^G, on 31 May 1859.^1,2 He died aged 80 on 19 February 1940³ and was buried at the Masonic Cemetery, Albany, Linn County, Oregon^G.³ He married on 7 September 1887, Hattie Ermina Schenck, daughter of Marcus P Schenck and Louisa E Jones.¹ Hattie was born in Fulton, Oswego County, New York State^G, in September 1866.^4,2

Seymour Austin Sackett, son of George Sacket and Lucy Asenath "Betsey" Cowles, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 24 July 1835.¹ He died aged 60 in Springfield, Hampden County^G, on 14 July 1896.² He married first in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts^G, on 10 January 1861, Hannah Louisa Sibley, daughter of Allen Sibley and Sarah Lloyd.³ Hannah was born in Westfield^G on 10 May 1842.⁵ He married second in Boston, Massachusetts^G, on 16 August 1887, Mary Elizabeth Norwood, daughter of Emery Norwood and Emily ___.⁴ Mary was born in New Haven, Connecticut^G, in May 1867.^6,7,8 They divorced at New Haven^G in September 1895.⁹ Mary married second on 24 August 1897, Edwin J Balbier.¹⁰ She died aged about 61 in New Haven County, Connecticut^G, on 5 March 1929 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven^G.¹¹

     Seymour was a student at Westfield Academy^G in 1853.¹³
     In 1860 he was living in Westfield^G and was recorded as Seymour Sacket, a lash cutter, aged 24. He was living in a hotel owned by Nelson Foster.¹⁴
     Seymour registered for the Civil War draft in June 1863. He was married, aged 30, and was a whip maker, living in Westfield^G.¹⁵
     In 1870 he was living in Westfield^G and was recorded as Seymour Sackett, a whip maker, aged 35, and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Hannah, aged 27 and born in Massachusetts, and their children, Sarah, 8, John, 6, George, 3, and Mabel aged six months.¹⁶
     Seymour was listed in the Westfield City Directory in 1873 as a tanner. He was listed there in 1875 but with no occupation stated. He was not listed in the 1878 and 1879 directories. From 1880 to 1886 he was listed there as a whip cutter.¹⁷
     After Seymour's death, Mary returned to New Haven, Connecticut^G, and was listed there in the 1897 city directory before marrying Edwin Balbier later the same year.¹⁸

Ellen A Sackett, daughter of George Sacket and Lucy Asenath "Betsey" Cowles, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, about 1840.^1,2 She died aged 68 in Westfield^G on 17 June 1909 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield^G.³ She married in Westfield^G on 4 October 1862, Hartley N Shattuck, son of Charles F Shattuck and Sarah H Burnham.² Hartley was born in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire^G, on 14 September 1841.⁴ He died aged 67 on 8 October 1908 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield^G.⁵
     In 1850 Ellen was living in Westfield^G in the household of her parents George and Lucy, and was recorded in the census as Ellen A Sacket, aged nine and born in Massachusetts.⁶

George Arthur Sackett, a dentist, son of George Sacket and Lucy Asenath "Betsey" Cowles, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 9 December 1853.^1,2 He died there of pneumonia aged 29 on 23 January 1883.^1,3 He married in Westfield^G on 16 August 1876, Clara Etta Brady, daughter of James Brady and Esther Miller.⁴ Clara was born in Westfield^G in 1856.⁵ After George's death Clara married second in Westfield^G on 8 October 1884, Andrew Fox, son of Hiram and Ozina Fox.⁶ She married third, presumably in Westfield, Charles Holmes.⁷ She died aged 41 in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 10 January 1897.⁷
     In 1860 George was living in Westfield^G in the household of his parents George and Lucy, and was recorded in the census as George A Sacket, aged six and born in Massachusetts.⁸
     In 1870 he was living in Westfield^G in the household of his parents George and Lucy, and was recorded as George Arthur Sackett, aged 16, attending school, and born in Massachusetts.⁹
     A record in the 1880 census has not been found.
     George was listed in the Westfield City Directory from 1875 to 1882. Advertising his dental services, he promised that "all dental operations will be performed in a thorough and workmanlike manner" and that he had "a full line of brushes and powder always on hand."¹⁰

Austin Sackett, son of Austin Sackett and Charlotte Hayes, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, about 1838.^1,2 He died aged 78 on 16 April 1917 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield^G.⁴ He married there on 27 November 1862, Marcia J Tourtellotte, daughter of Smith Tourtelott and Maria ___.³

Dewitt Clinton Sackett, son of Austin Sackett and Charlotte Hayes, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 29 December 1845.^1,2 He married in Westfield^G on 18 November 1896, Alice R (Boyce) Hoey, daughter of Lewis Boyce and Lavina Cannon.³ Alice was born in Suffield, Hartford County, Connecticut^G, about 1851.⁴
