Lovicy Ray, daughter of Timothy Ray and Lovicy Richards, was born in Torrington, Litchfield County, Connecticut^G, on 20 June 1788.^1,2 She died aged 76 in Phelps, Ontario County, New York State^G, on 18 February 1865 and was buried at Pioneer Cemetery, Phelps^G.³ She married Francis Root, son of Oliver Root and Catherine Smead.³

Thomas Sacket, son of Justus Sacket and Fanny Faxon, was born in Martinsburg, Lewis County, New York State^G, on 24 December 1805.^1,2 He died in infancy on 5 May 1807.^1,2

Ann Eliza "Eliza" Sacket, daughter of Justus Sacket and Fanny Faxon, was born in Martinsburg, Lewis County, New York State^G, on 8 June 1807.^1,2 She died aged 57 on 30 September 1864.² She married on 6 October 1844, George Taylor, son of George Taylor and Elizabeth Valentine.^3,2 George was born in Fayette County, Indiana^G, in 1820.² He was killed in action on 16 December 1864 in the Battle of Nashville during the American Civil War.²

Cornelia Sacket, daughter of Justus Sacket and Fanny Faxon, was born in Martinsburg, Lewis County, New York State^G, on 31 December 1809.^1,2 She died in infancy on 27 January 1812.^1,2

Morrison Sackett, son of Justus Sacket and Fanny Faxon, was born in Martinsburg, Lewis County, New York State^G, on 24 October 1811.^1,2,3 He died aged 60 in Marengo, Calhoun County, Michigan^G, on 21 October 1872² and was buried at Oakridge Cemetery, Marshall, Calhoun County^G.⁵ He married on 17 January 1842, Mary Adeline Brooks, daughter of Abram Brooks and Esther Grant.^2,3,4 Mary was born in New York State^G on 20 December 1808.^2,6,7 She died aged 79 on 2 September 1888 and was buried at Oakridge Cemetery, Marshall^G.^5,7
     Morrison purchased 40 acres of land in Lenawee County, Michigan^G, on 15 June 1837.⁸
     Morrison was listed in the 1840 census as a householder in Raisin, Lenawee County^G.⁹
     In 1850 Morrison was living in Raisin^G and was recorded in the census as Morrison Sackett, a farmer, aged 35 [actually 38] and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Mary, 37 [42], their daughter Frances, aged five, and Morrison's mother Fanny, 70.¹⁰
     In 1860 he was living in Marengo, Calhoun County^G, and was recorded as Morrison Sackett, a farmer, aged 48. Living with him were his wife Mary A, 52, their daughter Frances, 15, and Morrison's mother Frances, 80.¹¹
     Morrison Sackett was one of the original incorporators of the Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Co. of Calhoun County on 26 June 1862.¹²
     In 1870 he was living in Marengo^G and was recorded as Morrison Sackett, a farmer, aged 54 [58]. Living with him were his wife Adeline, 60, and their daughter Frances, 24.¹³
     Morrison made his will at Marengo^G on 11 June 1872. He left his 80-acre farm and his personal estate equally to his wife and daughter. The will was proved by his widow Mary as executrix on 29 November 1872.
     In 1880 Morrison's widow Mary was living in Marengo^G and was recorded in the census as Mary A. Sackett, a widow aged 72.¹⁴
     Morrison's estate was still the registered owner of the 80-acre farm in section 18, Marengo^G, in 1897.
