Florence was born in Cass County, Iowa^G, on 28 December 1866.² She died aged 81 in Adair County, Iowa^G, on 2 August 1948² and was buried at Greenfield Cemetery^G.³

John Allen Sackett, son of Francis M Sackett and Ruth Sophia Sayer, was born in Illinois^G in April 1864.^4,5 He died aged about 73 in 1937 and was buried at Van Meter Cemetery, Dallas County, Iowa^G.^7,8 He married first in Adair County, Iowa^G, on 30 October 1887, Effie Janet Key, daughter of Fielden Key and Susan Roberts.⁶ Effie was born on 11 March 1869² and died aged 29 on 15 July 1898.² He married second on 9 February 1900, Marguerite M ___.^7,2 Marguerite was born in Ohio^G in October 1868^4,9 and was buried at Van Meter Cemetery^G.⁸ She died aged about 63 in 1932.

Cora Frances Sackett, daughter of Francis M Sackett and Ruth Sophia Sayer, was born in Iowa^G in March 1873.^1,2 She died aged about 83 in 1956³ and was buried at the Brethren Cemetery, Panora, Guthrie County, Iowa^G.³
     In 1880 Cora was living at Harrison, Adair County, Iowa^G, and was recorded in the census as F C Sackett, aged seven and born in Iowa, daughter of Francis and Ruth.⁵ She married in Adair County, Iowa^G, on 5 February 1888, Mark R Hodson, son of Josiah Hodson and Lydia Jane Hiatt.⁴ Mark was born in Indiana^G on 8 May 1861.^1,6,7 He died aged 50 in Adel, Dallas County, Iowa^G, on 10 November 1911.
     In 1900 she was living in Judkins Township, Woodward County, Oklahoma^G, in the household of her husband Mark Hodson, 39, a farmer, and was recorded as Cora Hodson, aged 27 and born in Iowa. Living with them were their children, Hester, 11, Blanche, 10, Zola, 9, Ray, 7, Eva, 6, Clyde, and Josiah, aged two. They owned their home free of mortgage.²
