     In 1900 Oscar was living in Stonington, Christian County, Illinois^G, in the household of his parents Reuben and Eliza, and was recorded in the census as Oscar C Sackett, aged 19 and born in Illinois.²
     In 1930 he was living in Mocassin, Judith Basin County, Montana^G, and was recorded as Oscar Sackett, a farm laborer, head of household, aged 49, single. He was unemployed at the census date. Also in the household were his brother John, 35 (also unemployed), and their widowed mother Eliza.³
     In 1940 he was living in Mocassin^G and was recorded as Oscar Sackett, a laborer, head of household, aged 59, single. His brother John, 47, was living with him.⁴

John Wallace Sackett Sr, son of Reuben Sackett and Eliza Branson, was born near Blue Mound, Stonington, Christian County, Illinois^G, on 20 January 1893.^1,2 He died aged 81 in Malta, Phillips County, Montana^G, on 14 January 1975 and was buried at Moccasin Cemetery, Mocassin, Judith Basin County, Montana^G.^4,5,6 He married in Lewistown, Fergus County, Montana^G, on 9 April 1943, Lucy Rose Skaggs, daughter of Benjamin F Skaggs and Ollie May Archer.³ Lucy was born in Lewistown^G on 1 March 1917.^7,8 She died aged 55 in a car accident near Windham, Judith Basin County^G, on 31 May 1972 and was buried at Moccasin Cemetery^G.^4,9
     In 1900 John was living in Stonington, Christian County, Illinois^G, in the household of his parents Reuben and Eliza, and was recorded in the census as John W Sackett, aged seven and born in Illinois.¹⁰
     In 1910 he was living in Stonington^G in the household of his widowed mother Eliza, and was recorded as John W Sackett, a farm hand, aged 17.¹¹
     John completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was aged 24 and was a self-employed farmer. He was single and was living at Blue Mound^G with his mother.¹²
     In 1920 he was living in Stonington^G and was recorded as John Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 27, single. His widowed mother Eliza, 59, was living with him. There was also a male farm laborer in the household.¹³
     John removed in 1927 with his brother Oscar and their mother Eliza from Illinois to Moccasin, Montana.
     In 1930 he was living in Mocassin^G in the household of his brother Oscar, and was recorded as John Sackett, a farm laborer, aged 35, single. Both John and Oscar were unemployed at the census date. Their widowed mother Eliza was living with them.¹⁴
     In 1940 he was living in Mocassin^G in the household of his brother Oscar, and was recorded as John Sackett, a farmer, aged 47, single.¹⁵
     John completed a World War II draft registration card on 27 April 1942. He was aged 49 and was employed by the Great Northern Railway. He was living in Mocassin^G. Next of kin was his brother Oscar.¹⁶

John Wallace Sackett Jr, son of John Wallace Sackett Sr and Lucy Rose Skaggs, was born in Lewiston, Fergus County, Montana^G, on 1 October 1945.¹ He died aged 65 in Judith Basin County, Montana^G, on 24 May 2011 and was buried at Moccasin Cemetery, Mocassin, Judith Basin County^G.¹

George H Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett and Sarah L ___, was born in New York State^G about 1832.¹ He died aged about 24 in Ellicott, Chautauqua County^G, in 1856.²
     George was named as a beneficiary in the will of his father Joseph made in Stockton, Chautauqua County, New York State^G, on 17 July 1849. He was to inherit the estate, both real and personal, subject to his mother Sarah's interest in half of the estate during her widowhood.
     In 1850 George was living in Stockton^G and was recorded in the census as George H Sackett, a farmer, aged 18 and born in New York. His recently widowed mother Sarah, 54, was living with him.³
     Letters of administration of George's estate were granted in the court at Sinclairville, Chautauqua County^G, on 27 November 1856 to Esther J Sackett.⁴ Esther's appointment as administratrix suggests she was George's wife although a record has not been found.

Phineas Edgar Sackett, son of Phineas Porter Sackett and Emilia Hoffmann, was born in Highland, Madison County, Illinois^G, on 21 December 1907.¹ He died aged 54 in Wood River, Madison County^G, on 22 August 1962.¹ He married in Highland^G on 19 November 1927, Irene Bessie Gilomen.¹ Irene was born in Marine, Madison County^G, on 17 January 1911.¹ She died in Highland^G on 14 January 1986.¹
     In 1940 Phineas was living in Helvetia, Madison County^G, and was recorded in the census as Phineas Sackett, a shoe factory worker, aged 32 and born in Illinois. Living with him were his wife Irene, 29, and their children, Colleen, 12, and Billy, aged nine.²
     In 1950 he was living in Highland^G and was recorded as Phineas Sackett, an office assistant in a cartridge plant, aged 42. Living with him were his wife Irene, 39, and their son Billy, 19.³
