Harry Oliver Sackett, son of Samuel S Sackett and Rebecca Green, was born in Alliance, Stark County, OhioG, on 12 May 1868.1,2 He died aged 58 at 228 Frederick Avenue, Sewickley, Allegheny County, PennsylvaniaG, on 20 May 19263 and was buried at Sewickley CemeteryG on 24 May 1926.5 His wife Cora was appointed administrator of his estate.6 He married at Allegheny CountyG on 16 October 1895, Cora Palmer, daughter of Phillip Palmer and Mahalia Waters.1,4 Cora was born in Cadiz, Harrison County, OhioG, on 25 July 1865.1,5,7 She died aged 92 at home in 4990 Willow Drive, Whitehall, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PennsylvaniaG, on 19 March 1958 and was buried at Sewickley CemeteryG.5,8
     In 1880 Harry was living at Beaver Street, Sewickley, Allegheny County, PennsylvaniaG, and was recorded in the census as Harry Sacket, aged twelve and born in Pennsylvania. He was living with his mother Rebecca in the household of Rebecca's widowed mother Eliza Green.9
     Harry was listed in the Pittsburgh City Directory from 1890 to 1898, living in SewickleyG.10
     In 1900 Harry was living at Fife? Street, SewickleyG, and was recorded in the census as Harry O Sackett, a railroad clerk, head of household, aged 32. He owned his home free of mortgage. Living with him were his wife Cora, 33, and their daughter Hope, aged one.11
     In 1910 he was living at Blackburn Avenue, SewickleyG, and was recorded as Harry O Sackett, a railroad freight agent, head of household, aged 41. He owned his home. Living with him were his wife Cora, 44, and their children, Hope, 11, and Rebecca, aged two. There was also a female boarder in the household.12
     In 1920 he was living at Frederick Avenue, SewickleyG, and was recorded as Harry O Sackett, a freight agent for the Pennsylvania Railroad, head of household, aged 52. Living with him were his wife Cora, 54, and their daughter Rebecca, aged eleven.13
     After Harry's death, Cora removed to Bethlehem, PennsylvaniaG, where she was recorded in the city directory froom 1941 to 1947.14
