Harry Oliver Sackett, son of Samuel S Sackett and Rebecca Green, was born in Alliance, Stark County, Ohio^G, on 12 May 1868.^1,2 He died aged 58 at 228 Frederick Avenue, Sewickley, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania^G, on 20 May 1926³ and was buried at Sewickley Cemetery^G on 24 May 1926.⁵ His wife Cora was appointed administrator of his estate.⁶ He married at Allegheny County^G on 16 October 1895, Cora Palmer, daughter of Phillip Palmer and Mahalia Waters.^1,4 Cora was born in Cadiz, Harrison County, Ohio^G, on 25 July 1865.^1,5,7 She died aged 92 at home in 4990 Willow Drive, Whitehall, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania^G, on 19 March 1958 and was buried at Sewickley Cemetery^G.^5,8

     In 1910 he was living at Blackburn Avenue, Sewickley^G, and was recorded as Harry O Sackett, a railroad freight agent, head of household, aged 41. He owned his home. Living with him were his wife Cora, 44, and their children, Hope, 11, and Rebecca, aged two. There was also a female boarder in the household.¹²
     In 1920 he was living at Frederick Avenue, Sewickley^G, and was recorded as Harry O Sackett, a freight agent for the Pennsylvania Railroad, head of household, aged 52. Living with him were his wife Cora, 54, and their daughter Rebecca, aged eleven.¹³
     After Harry's death, Cora removed to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania^G, where she was recorded in the city directory froom 1941 to 1947.¹⁴

Hope S Sackett, daughter of Harry Oliver Sackett and Cora Palmer, was born in Pennsylvania^G on 31 July 1898.^1,2 She died aged 66 at home at 2510 Winston Road, Hanover, Northampton County, Pennsylvania^G, on 5 April 1965 and was buried at NIsky Hill Cemetery, Bethlehem, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania^G.³ She married ___ Shafer.
