Alma Elizabeth Sackett
Alma Elizabeth Sackett was born in Minster, KentG, in 1900.1,2 She would have been the daughter of one of three sisters: Elizabeth Harriet Sackett, Alma Sarah Sackett, or Harriet Eliza Sackett. She died aged 59 in Thanet, KentG, in 1960.3 She married in Brentford, MiddlesexG, in 1926, Albert A Gosling.4,5
In 1901 Alma was living at 5 Gladstone Road, St John's, Margate, KentG, and was recorded in the census as Alma E Sackett, aged seven months and born in Minster, Kent, granddaughter of Thos Sackett.6
In 1911 she was living at 16 St John's Road, Margate, KentG, in the household of her grandparents Thomas and Harriet Sackett, and was recorded as Alma Elizabeth Sackett, a schoolgirl, aged ten and born in Minster.7
In 1921 she was living at 6 Princes Crescent, MargateG, in the household of her grandparents Thomas and Harriett Sackett, and was recorded as Alma E Sackett, a waitress in private personal service, aged 20.8

Millua Ethel James, daughter of Jacob Horner James and Sarah Sackett, was born near Cedar Church, Randolph County, IndianaG, on 15 May 1881.1 She died aged 97 in Parker City, Randolph County, IndianaG, on 24 June 1978.2 She married on 16 October 1900, Ernest Mason, son of Felix Washington Mason and Eunice Morris.2
In 1910 Millua was living at C Street, Vancouver, Clark County, Washington StateG, in the household of her husband Ernest, 30, a wagon driver, and was recorded in the census as Ethel M Mason, aged 28 and born in Indiana. Living with them were their children, Gordon, 8, Edna, 3, and William, aged ten months. There was also a male lodger in the household. They rented their home.3
In 1920 she was living at Mosier Road, White River, Randolph County, IndianaG, in the household of her husband Ernest, 40, a stock farm laborer, and was recorded as Millua Mason, aged 38. Living with them were their children, Gordon, 18, Edna, 13, William, 10, Willard, 4, and Pansy, aged one.4

Mrs. Ethel Mason
Farmland—Mrs. Ethel Mason, 97, died about 5:30 a.m. Saturday at Crystals Country Home in Parker City.
She was a Farmland area native. Her husband Ernest died in 1965.
Survivors include two sons, Gordon, Blanchester, Ohio, and Felix, Lewisburg, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Clendenin, Twenty-nine Palms. Calif., and Mrs. Howard Brown, Winchester; 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Mason will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Thornburg Funeral Home west of here with the Rev. Burley Oren officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Cemetery south of here. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and before services Monday at the funeral home.
