Charles Gates "Charlie" Sackett, farmer, son of Erasmus Mason Sackett and Abigail Gates, was born in Ruggles Township, Ashland County, Ohio^G, on 9 December 1854.^1,2 He died aged 81 in Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio^G, on 13 August 1936² and was buried at Ruggles Township^G on 15 August 1936.² He married first about 1881, Almina Stout.^1,3 Almina was born in Ohio^G in August 1856.⁴ She died aged about 46 in 1903 and was buried at Ruggles Cemetery^G.⁵ He married second Eva Mae Sturtedant, daughter of William B Sturtedant and Anna B Wolcott. Eva was born in Ashland County, Ohio^G, on 5 October 1858.⁶ She died aged 77 in Rochester, Lorain County, Ohio^G, on 23 July 1936⁶ and was buried at Ruggles Township^G on 26 July 1936.⁶

Kimball Beach Sackett, farmer, later a painter, son of Justus Harvey Sackett and Irene Beach, was born in Ruggles Township, Ashland County, Ohio^G, on 2 October 1872.^1,2 He died aged 79 in the VA Hospital, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio^G, on 28 December 1951³ and was buried at Grove Street Cemetery, New London, Huron County, Ohio^G, on 3 January 1952.³ He married in Huron County^G on 29 September 1897, Cora M Templeton, daughter of John Templeton and Sarah ___.⁴ Cora was born in Huron County^G on 11 July 1878⁵ and died aged 57 in Cleveland^G on 15 March 1936.⁵
     Kimball served as a private soldier in the Spanish-American War and was discharged on 5 November 1898.³
     Kimball completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was a farmer, aged 45, and was living at Medina, Ohio^G, with his wife Cora.⁶

Sarah Louise Sackett, daughter of Samuel M Sackett and Mary Melissa Wood, was born about 1876.^1,2 She married in Leamington, Essex County, Ontario^G, on 27 October 1910, William Walter, son of John T Walter and Catharine Cainivan?.³ William was born about 1860.¹

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Kimball Sackett, daughter of Orange E Sackett and Emma Susan Chesley, was born in Decatur, Macon County, Illinois^G, on 11 November 1873.² She died aged 71 in Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois^G, on 19 November 1944 and was buried at Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois^G.⁴ She married at Red Cloud, Webster County, Nebraska^G, on 24 February 1894, Joseph Sparks.³ Joseph was born in Illinois^G in November 1865.⁵
