Olive Frances Sackett, daughter of Gilbert "Bertie" Sackett and Mabel Agnes Dawson, was born in Ramsgate, Kent^G, on 6 August 1912^1,2,3 and died there aged 75 on 25 July 1988.^4,5 She was unmarried.
     In 1921 Olive was living at 8 Salisbury Avenue, Ramsgate, Kent^G, in the household of her parents Gilbert and Mabel, and was recorded in the census as Olive Frances Sackett, aged eight and born in Ramsgate.⁶
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Olive was living at 8 Salisbury Avenue, Ramsgate^G, with her mother (Mabel) Agnes and twin brothers Stanley and John.⁷

Stanley William Sackett FRCO, ARCM, son of Gilbert "Bertie" Sackett and Mabel Agnes Dawson, was born in Ramsgate, Kent^G, on 22 October 1914.^1,2,3 He died aged 82 on 25 September 1997.⁴ He married on 4 April 1953, Margaret McKenzie.⁴
     Stanley studied at the Royal Academy of Music and was a fellow of the Royal College of Organists and an associate of the Royal College of Music.⁵

     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Stanley was a musician, living at 8 Salisbury Avenue, Ramsgate^G, with his mother (Mabel) Agnes, sister Olive and twin brother John.⁷

John Dawson Sackett, son of Gilbert "Bertie" Sackett and Mabel Agnes Dawson, was born in Thanet, Kent^G, on 22 October 1914^1,2 and died there aged 77 on 28 December 1991.^3,4,5 He married in Thanet^G on 25 September 1942, Lillian Kate Adams.^3,6,7 Lillian was born in Thanet^G on 21 February 1915^8,2 and died there aged about 62 in 1977.⁹
     In 1921 John was living at 8 Salisbury Avenue, Ramsgate, Kent^G, in the household of his parents Gilbert and Mabel, and was recorded in the census as John Dawson Sackett, aged six.¹⁰
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, John was a van driver, living at 8 Salisbury Avenue, Ramsgate^G, with his mother (Mabel) Agnes, sister Olive and twin brother Stanley. John's future wife Lillian was a dairy clerk, living at 38 Duncan Road, Ramsgate, in the household of George and Sarah Aubrey.^11,12
     John left a will which was proved in Brighton, Sussex^G, on 4 February 1992.⁵

Harold Gilbert Sackett, son of Gilbert "Bertie" Sackett and Mabel Agnes Dawson, was born in Thanet, Kent^G, on 29 June 1918.^1,2 He died aged 81 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire^G, on 27 November 1999.^1,3 He married at Maidstone, Kent^G, in 1941, Edna Amies.^4,5 Edna was born in Maidstone^G on 5 January 1913^6,7 and died aged 87 in Aylesbury^G on 25 October 2000.^8,9
     In 1921 Harold was living at 8 Salisbury Avenue, Ramsgate, Kent^G, in the household of his parents Gilbert and Mabel, and was recorded in the census as Harold Gilbert Sackett, aged two.¹⁰
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Harold's future wife Edna was living at 3 Elms Avenue, Ramsgate, Kent^G, in an Underdown household. She was an assistant relieving officer at Kent County Council.¹¹
     Edna left a will which was proved in Oxford^G on 20 December 2000.⁹

He died aged 69 in Thanet, Kent^G, in 1925.¹ James Uriah Miller Sackett, son of Francis "Frank" Sackett and Jane Elizabeth Miller, was born in Minster, Kent^G, in 1857.^2,3 Harriet was born on 8 November 1858.⁶ He married at St Lawrence in Thanet^G on 2 February 1878, Harriet Mirams^4,5 and died aged about 92 in Thanet^G in 1950.⁷

     In 1881 he was living at 4 Eagle Cottages, Ramsgate^G, and was recorded as James Sackett, a painter, head of household, married, aged 24 and born in Broadstairs, Kent. Living with him were his wife Harriet, 23, and their daughter Rosa, aged two.¹⁰
     In 1891 he was living at 7 Bristol Place, Ramsgate^G, and was recorded as James U Sackett, a painter, head of household, married, aged 24 [actually 34] and born in Ramsgate. Living with him were his wife Harriett, 31, and children, Edith, 9, Florence, 7, Lilian, 3, and James, aged two.¹¹
     In 1901 he was living at 7 Bristol Place, Ramsgate^G, and was recorded as James U Sackett, a house painter, head of household, married, aged 46 and born in Ramsgate. Living with him were his wife Harriet, 41, and their children, Florence, 17, Lilian, 13, James, 12, and Albert, aged six.¹²
     James and his brother Alfred proved their father Francis's will on 7 April 1902. His estate was valued at £289.
     In 1911 James was living at 158 High Street, Ramsgate, Kent^G, and was recorded in the census as James Uriah Sackett, house painter, head of household, married, aged 58 [actually 54] and born in Ramsgate. Living with him were his wife Harriet, 52, their married daughter Florence, 27, and their son Albert, aged 16. Also in the household was a nephew, Harold Brown, aged 14.¹³
     In 1921 he was living at 55 Boundary Road, Ramsgate^G, and was recorded as James Sackett, a house painter, head of household, aged 69 [actually 64]. His wife Harriet, 62, was living with him.¹⁴
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, James's widow Harriet was living at 55 Boundary Road, Ramsgate, Kent^G, with her son Albert.¹⁵

Alice Rose Sackett, daughter of James Uriah Miller Sackett and Harriet Mirams, was born in Thanet, Kent^G, in 1879¹ and baptized at St George's Church, Ramsgate, Kent^G, on 17 June 1879.² She died in childhood in Thanet^G in 1884.³

     In 1911 she was living at 1 Shorndean Street, Catford, London^G, in the household of her husband Herbert, 39, a journeyman baker, and was recorded as Edith Jane Miller, aged 29 and born in Ramsgate. Living with them was Herbert's widowed mother Eliza Lankford, 58. There was also a boarder in the household, Alfred Tigwell, 25.⁶

Florence Louisa Sackett, daughter of James Uriah Miller Sackett and Harriet Mirams, was born in Ramsgate, Kent^G, in 1883^1,2 and baptized at St George's Church, Ramsgate, Kent^G, on 13 November 1883.³ She died aged 75 in Thanet, Kent^G, in 1959.⁴ She married in Thanet, Kent^G, in 1906, Frederick George Fagg.⁵

     In 1911 she was living at 158 High Street, Ramsgate, Kent^G, in the household of her parents James and Harriet, and was recorded as Florence Fagg, aged 27 and born in Ramsgate.⁸ At the date of the census, 2 April 1911, Florence's husband Frederick was aboard HMS Crescent, a Royal Navy cruiser, on passage from Hong Kong to Woosung. He was recorded as Fredk G Fagg (alias Abbott), 27, married, a stoker, born in Broadstairs.⁹

Lilian Mercy Sackett, daughter of James Uriah Miller Sackett and Harriet Mirams, was born in Ramsgate, Kent^G, in 1888.^1,2 She married at St George, Ramsgate, Kent^G, on 10 October 1910, Edward John Axell.^3,4
