Captain George Wilbur Sackett, son of George Woodruff Sackett and Beldena M "Belle" Wilbur, was born in Geneva, Kane County, IllinoisG, on 4 December 1891.1,2 He was killed in action in the First World War in Cunel, Departement de la Meuse, Lorraine, FranceG, on 15 October 1918 and was buried at Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial, Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, Departement de la MeuseG.1,2 He married in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, TennesseeG, on 18 July 1917, Antoinette Geraldine Cooper, daughter of William Harmon Cooper and Mabel Alice Brown. Antoinette was born in Chicago, IllinoisG, on 4 December 1895.1 She subsequently married Thomas Wilbur Trout in 1919 and, later, Hugh James Grainger in 1944.1 She died aged 91 in Duval County, FloridaG, on 18 September 1987 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville, Duval CountyG.1
