     Frank Sackett was born June 19, 1868, in Bear Creek township and died at his home in Scott township, July 24, 1922, aged 54 years, 1 months and 5 days.
     He was married to Mary Baird September 14, 1886. To this union two sons were born, John and Scott.
     Mr. Sackett, or Frank, as he was most commonly called, spent his entire life in the vicinity of his late home. He did the road work in Scott township for nineteen years and many people will miss his cheery word. That he had acquired a large number of friends, was shown during his last illness at the hospital and at his home by the constant flow of visitors who came to see him and do, if possible, something to ease his intense sufferings. He was the most patient and uncomplaining of men and when hardly able to speak, he was always "alright," thinking only of the welfare of others. There never was a more accommodating neighbor, no word of criticism or unkindness fell from his lips, and a more indulgent husband and father could not be found. While this is comforting, it makes the loss seem doubly hard.
     He leaves his loving wife, two sons, John and Scott, one little granddaughter, Verna, of whom he was especially fond, one brother, George, four sisters, of the latter only two, Mrs. James Patton and Mrs. Robert Baird, were present at the time of his death. Besides these, a host of friends and other relatives mourn his untimely passing.
     Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Wednesday afternoon, July 26th, conducted by the Rev. E. W. F. Holler. Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

     Cottage Grove, Sept. 26. (Special)—Mrs. Cora Sackett Milne was born in Des Moines, Iowa, August 5, 1874, and died at her home on South Lane St. and Villard Court, Sept. 25, 1924, from a complication of diseases. She was married to John Milne 31 years ago and leaves, besides her husband, four children, Ralph, Clara, Clarence, and Elsie Milne all of Cottage Grove. Mrs. Milne was a devoted mother and appeared to live for her children alone. No funeral arrangements have been made. Mrs. Milne leaves several brothers and sisters in Iowa.

J. S. Milne Dies Suddenly Today
     J. S. Milne, 76, father of Ralph Milne of Philomath, died suddenly this morning in Corvallis. He had lived in this city only for the past two years.
     Mr. Milne was born in Brooklyn, Iowa, June 11, 1868, the son of Stewart and Mary Milne. He grow to manhood on a farm in Iowa. In 1892 he married Cora May Sackett and four children were born to them. Mr. Milne farmed in Iowa until 1901 when he moved to Oregon and Cottage Grove where he was in the real estate business for 25 years. Mrs. Milne died in 1924.
     He moved to Seaside and spent ten years there before going to Vancouver, Washington. Mr. Milne was a member of the Presbyterian church.
     Surviving are the son and one daughter, Mrs. Clara May Ayers of Sisters. There are two grandchildren.
     The remains are in the Keeney Funeral Home where arrangements are being made for the service.

Koster—In this city, September 17, 1924, Harriet Edith Koster, loving mother of Mabel, Hazel, Jack and George Koster, Mrs. Wilbur Smith and Mrs. James S. Reilly of Stockton, a native of California, aged 60 years.
     Funeral Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at her home, 514 Baker st. Interment, Cypress Lawn Memorial Park.

George K. Sackett, Former Resident, Dead
     George K. Sackett, former resident of Oroville, where he acted as agent for the Wells Fargo Express Company from 1901 to 1903, passed away in San Francisco yesterday. Death came suddenly and after only a short illness. The deceased will be well remembered to older residents of this city.

Sackett Body Shipped Here
     Graveside services will be held this afternoon at Tulocay cemetery at 1:45 o'clock for Charles Sackett, former Napan who left here 40 years ago. The body will be brought here for burial following services at the Reilly Parlors in San Francisco.
     Sackett, 64, died after an illness of many weeks. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kirtland Sackett, pioneer ranchers on the Big Ranch road. Surviving are his wife, two sisters, Mrs. William Skinner of Oregon and Mrs. Margaret Imrie of Napa, one brother, Samuel Sackett of San Francisco and nieces and nephews.

Rites Today for Mrs. Margaret Imrie, Teacher
     Mrs. Margaret Imrie, beloved educator and highly esteemed member of an old Napa county family, passed away at the Victory Hospital in this city at an early hour yesterday morning after a brief illness.
     Mrs. Imrie was taken ill suddenly at the family home northeast of this city last Monday evening. She was removed to the Victory Hospital on Wednesday and was given every possible medical attention. But she lost strength rapidly and passed away at the time noted above.
     Possessed of unusually gracious traits, Mrs. Imrie had hosts of friends in this community.
     Deceased was born on July 11, 1875, in Napa. She was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kirtland Sackett, whose home for many years was on the Big Ranch road north of Napa. Her school days were spent here and she grew to womanhood in this community.
     She became the bride of William Wallace Imrie in 1900, and with the exception of a few years, had since resided continuously in Napa.
     Mr. Imrie was taken by death in 1917, and since that time his widow had been engaged in educational activities at the Lincoln School here. She was a devoted mother, giving all time possible to the care and training of her three children.
     She was a life-long member of the Napa Presbyterian church and a member of Keystone Chapter, 0. E. S.
     Mrs. Imrie is survived by these children: Wallace Imrie of Napa, Miss Lavelle Imrie of San Francisco, and Mrs. William Barlow (Janet Imrie) of Oakland. There is also a sister, Mrs. William Skinner, of Jordan Valley, Oregon. Mrs. Imrie was the sister of the late Samuel, George and Charles Sackett and the late Mrs. Hattie Koster.
     Funeral services will be held at the Webber Parlors in Napa at three o'clock this afternoon, the services to be under the auspices of Keystone Chapter, O. E. S.
