     In 1891 she was living at 1 Darnley Terrace, Gravesend, Kent^G, in the household of her husband Thomas Holt Shepherd, 44, a station master, and was recorded as Caroline Emily Shepherd, aged 41 and born in Dover. Living with them were their children, Philip, 18, and Helen, 14, and Caroline's unmarried aunt Sarah Ann Sackett, 73.⁴

Mabel Harriet Woodward, daughter of Frederick William Woodward and Emma Harriet Sackett, was born in St Peter in Thanet, Kent^G, on 3 February 1888.^1,2,3,4 She died aged 88 in Thanet^G in 1977.⁵ She was unmarried.
     In 1891 Mabel was living at 2 Farley Cottages, St Peter in Thanet, Kent^G, in the household of her parents Frederick and Emma, and was recorded in the census as Mabel H Woodward, aged three and born in Broadstairs.⁶
     In 1901 she was living at 2 Farley Cottages^G in the household of her parents Frederick and Emma, and was recorded as M H Woodward, aged 13 and born in Broadstairs.⁷
     In 1911 she was living at 2 Farley Cottages^G in the household of her parents Fredrick and Emma, and was recorded as Mabel Woodward, aged 23, a clerk in a laundry.⁸
     In 1921 she was living at 37 Upton Road, St Peter in Thanet^G, in the household of her widowed mother Emma, and was recorded as Mabel Harriet Woodward, a bookkeeper in a dairy, single, aged 33.⁹
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Mabel, unmarried and a bookkeeper at a dairy, was living at 37 Upton Road, Broadstairs, Kent^G, with her widowed mother Harriet.¹⁰

Nellie M Smith, daughter of Charlie Alfred Smith and Annie Charlotte Sackett, was born in Dover, Kent^G, in 1900.¹
     In 1901 Nellie was living at 2 Farley Cottages, St Peter's, Broadstairs, Kent^G, in the household of her parents Charles and Annie, and was recorded in the census as Nellie M Smith, aged six months and born in Dover.²

Rachel Herbert, daughter of John Herbert and Rachel Sackett, was baptized in Baltimore, Maryland^G, on 3 April 1822.¹ She married in Allegany County, Maryland^G, on 20 June 1849, David Oscar Strong. David was born in Allegany County^G about 1816¹ and died there on 18 September 1888.¹

John Herbert Strong, son of David Oscar Strong and Rachel Herbert, was born about 1852.¹ He died in Cumberland, Allegany County, Maryland^G, on 15 January 1931.¹ He married in Allegany County^G about 1877, Mary R Wilmot.¹ Mary was born in Apollo, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania^G, about 1859¹ and died in Cumberland^G on 1 March 1927.¹

Edward Allen Strong, son of John Herbert Strong and Mary R Wilmot, was born on 24 December 1878.¹ He died aged 66 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania^G, on 18 November 1945.¹ He married at Mount Savage, Allegany County, Maryland^G, on 13 July 1903, Mary Elizabeth Warren.¹ Mary was born on 3 July 1880¹ and died aged 56 in Pittsburgh^G on 12 January 1937.¹
     Edward served in the Spanish American War.¹

Mary Elizabeth Strong, daughter of Edward Allen Strong and Mary Elizabeth Warren, was born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania^G, on 23 May 1911¹ and died there aged 80 on 4 April 1992.¹ She married in Pittsburgh^G on 6 January 1934, William Michael Reagan.¹ William was born in Pittsburgh^G on 4 May 1908¹ and died there aged 83 on 17 January 1992.¹

Joan Marie Reagan, daughter of William Michael Reagan and Mary Elizabeth Strong, was born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania^G, on 15 July 1934^1,2 and died there aged 82 on 26 April 2017.² She married on 12 June 1956, Theodore Joseph Cillo.¹ Theodore was born in Pittsburgh^G on 16 September 1925¹ and died there aged 69 on 18 May 1995.¹

Harold Reynolds Sackett, son of Frederick C Sackett and Carrie Josephine Gebo, was born in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 26 December 1894.¹ He married Susan R Mowbray.
     In 1900 Harold was living in Springfield^G in the household of his grandparents Philip and Margurite Gebo, and was recorded in the census as Harold R Sackett, aged five and born in Massachusetts.²
     Harold completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was then single, aged 23, and was living at 24 Myrtle Street, Springfield^G. He was employed as a carpenter at Ashley & Peterson in Springfield.³
     In 1920 he was living in Springfield^G and was recorded as Harold R Sackett, a foreman carpenter, head of household, aged 25 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Susan, 23, and their son Harold, aged one.⁴
     In 1930 he was living in Springfield^G and was recorded as Harold R Sackett, laborer, head of household, aged 35 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Susan, 33, and their children, Harold, 12, Frederick, 10, Beverley, 8, Lucille, 7, Barbara, 6, and John, aged two.⁵
     In 1940 Harold's widow Susan was living at Wilbraham Avenue, Springfield^G, and was recorded in the census as Susan R Sackett, head of household, a widow, aged 43. Living with her were her children, Harold, 21, Frederick, 20, Beverley, 18, Lucille, 17, Barbara, 16, John, 12, Robert, 6, and Richard, aged one.⁶

Frederick C Sackett, machinist, son of Cornelius Sackett and Sophia Caswell, was born in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts^G, about 1871. He married in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 28 February 1894, Carrie Josephine Gebo, daughter of Philip Gebo and Margaret "Maggie" Defoe.¹
     In 1880 Frederick was living in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, in the household of Samuel and Lucy (Sackett) Judd, and was recorded in the census as Frederick C Sackett, aged eight and born in Massachusetts. He was described as "adopted", but with no indication of who the adoptive parents were. Lucy Sackett was a third cousin to Frederick's father Cornelius.²
