Baptism4 May 1634, St Lawrence in Thanet, KentG,1
Marriage29 March 1666, St John in ThanetGIsrael Fleete2
Katherine Sackett, daughter of George Sackett and Susanna Curling, was baptized at St Lawrence in Thanet, KentG, on 4 May 1634.1 She was probably the Katherine Sackett who married at St John in ThanetG on 29 March 1666, Israel Fleete, son of Simon Fleete and Mary ___.2 Israel was baptized at Sturry, KentG, on 8 May 1636.3
The marriage at St John in Thanet to Israel Fleet has been assigned to this Katherine Sackett on the basis that she was baptized at nearby St Lawrence in Thanet. However, as Israel was baptized in Sturry and their children were baptized in neighbouring Westbere it is as likely that the Katherine of this marriage was the Katherine Sackett, daughter of Thomas Sackett and Mary Pickell, who was baptized at Herne in 1634.
