Jasper Lorenzo Sackett, son of Roland Sackett 2nd and Chloe Boles Stebbins, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 27 July 1865.1,2 He died before 1917.3 He married at Chicopee, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 16 June 1891, Flora Minerva Lamphear, daughter of Marcius Lamphear and Abbie B Orcutt.4 Flora was born in Grafton, Windham County, VermontG, about 18735,6 and died aged about 84 in Malden, Middlesex County, MassachusettsG, on 5 August 1957.7
     In 1870 Jasper was living in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in the household of his aunt Mercy Sackett, and was recorded in the census as Jasper Sackett, aged four, at home, and born in Massachusetts.8
     In 1900 he was living at Sherman Avenue, Glens Falls, Warren County, New York StateG, and was recorded as Jasper L Sackett, a superintendant in a bicycle works, head of household, aged 33. Living with him were his wife Flora, 27, and their son Raymond, aged seven. Flora's widowed father Marcius Lampher, 59, was living with them. There was also a female servant in the household.9
     In 1910 he was living at Lebanon Street, Melrose, Middlesex County, MassachusettsG, and was recorded as Jasper L Sackett, a furniture designer, head of household, aged 44. He rented his home. Living with him were his wife Flora, 36, and their children, Raymond, 17, Reginald, 8, and Paul, aged six. Also in the household was Flora's widowed father Marcius Lamphear, 68.10
     In 1920 Jasper's widow Flora, aged 45, was living at Cass Street, MelroseG, with her sons Raymond, Reginald, and Paul.11
     In 1930 she was living at Upham Street, MelroseG, and was recorded as Flora M Sackett, head of household,a widow aged 58. She rented her home. Living with her were her unmarried sons Reginald, 28, and Paul, 26.12 She was listed in the Melrose City Directory from 1920 to 1935, living in MelroseG with her son Reginald and, until his marriage in about 1934, her son Paul.13

James Clarence Sackett, son of Justin Sacket and Sophia Marsh, was born in Springfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 6 August 1854.1,2 He died there aged 85 on 20 August 19393 and was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, SpringfieldG.5 He married in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, on 17 December 1912, Marion Wade, daughter of Cyrus Allen Wade and Ascestra Marshall.4 Marion was born in Pelham, Westchester County, New York StateG, on 27 January 1869.6,7 She died aged 83 on 13 May 1952 and was buried at Oak Grove CemeteryG.5,8
