Frederick Sackett, son of Gad Sackett and Hannah Cadwell, was born in Russell, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in November 1819.1 He died aged 62 in Chicago, IllinoisG, on 26 March 1882.1,2 He married in West Springfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 27 May 1844, Jane Ann Gamwell, daughter of James Gamwell.1,3,4

Frederick Sackett.
Mr. Frederick Sackett, a well-known attorney of this city, died yesterday, at the age of 62, at his residence, No. 812 West Adams street, of Bright's disease. Mr. Sackett began his practice in Whiteside County, where he remained for a number of years. Some thirteen years ago he removed to this city, and has since been an honored member of the Chicago bar. He was author of "Instructions to Juries," the second and final volume of which he had but recently completed for publication.

1153. Frederick Sacket, 1819–1882, of Russell, Mass., Fishkill, N. Y., and Sterling and Chicago, Ill., son of (512) Gad and Lucy Williams Sacket, was married to Jane N. Gamwell. He was born in Russell, Mass; studied law and began the practice of his profession in the town of his birth. In 1853 he removed with his family to Sterling, Ill., and soon thereafter became one of the leaders of the Whiteside County bar. He was the author of "Sacket's Written Instruction to Jurors," and died in Chicago, Ill.

     In 1850 Elisabeth was living in RussellG in the household of her mother Hannah, and was recorded in the census as Elizabeth Sacket, aged 28 and born in Massachusetts.3
     In 1855 she was living in RussellG in the household of Polly Palmer, and was recorded as Elizabeth Sacket, aged 35.4
     In 1865 she was living in Springfield, Hampden CountyG, and was recorded as Elizabeth Sackett, aged 44. She was one of 25 mill workers living in a boarding house.5
     In 1880 she was living in RussellG and was recorded as Elizabeth Sackett, aged 59. She was a servant (housekeeper) in the household of Dexter Parks, a farmer.6
