Elijah Sackett, son of Milton H Sackett and Anna Sterret, was born in 1810.¹ He died aged about 19 in 1829.¹

Rev Milton Augustine Sackett, Presbyterian? pastor of Ohio, son of Milton H Sackett and Anna Sterret, was born in Williamsport, Washington County, Maryland^G, on 24 February 1813.^1,2 He died aged 83 on 21 August 1896.^1,2 He married on 4 May 1843, Susan P Hoge, daughter of James Hoge and Jessie Woods.¹

James Ferson Sackett, farmer, son of Milton H Sackett and Sally Ferson, was born in Orange Township, Delaware County, Ohio^G, on 9 October 1830.^1,2 He died aged 86 at 255N Franklin Street, Delaware, Delaware County^G, on 4 June 1917³ and was buried at Africa Cemetery, Delaware County^G, on 6 June 1917.³ He married on 5 September 1855, Elisabeth Havens, daughter of Andrew Havens and Susan Ball.¹

Milton H Sackett, son of Guy Sackett and Sarah Dunkan, was born in Pennsylvania^G on 6 August 1810.^1,2 He died aged 82 on 8 November 1892¹ and was buried in the Cheshire Cemetery, Berlin, Delaware County, Ohio^G.¹ He married about 1834, Anna Sherwood. Anna was born in Ohio^G on 1 October 1813.³ She died on 1 June 1904³ and was buried in the Cheshire Cemetery^G.³
     Milton was listed in the 1840 census as a householder in Berlin, Delaware County, Ohio^G.⁴
     In 1850 Milton was living in Berlin, Delaware County, Ohio^G, and was recorded in the census as Milton H Sackett, a farmer, aged 40 and born in Pennsylvania. Living with him were his wife Anna, 34, and their children, Harriet, 15, Guy, 10, Nancy, 8, and Alfred, aged six.⁵
     In 1880 he was living in Berkshire, Delaware County, Ohio^G, and was recorded as Milton H Sackett, a farmer, head of household, married, aged 69 and born in Pennsylvania. Living with him were his wife Anna E, aged 68, son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Liza (both aged 40), and their children, Mary, 19, Anna, 16, Hattie, 13, Charles, 10, and Gertrude, aged seven. Also in the household was a 25-year-old farmer, Jacob Meeks.⁶

Elijah Gibson Sackett, son of Guy Sackett and Sarah Dunkan, was born in Pennsylvania^G on 19 May 1809.¹ He died aged 72 on 5 July 1881² and was buried at Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, Adair County, Iowa^G.⁴ He married in 1824, Malinda Lee, daughter of William Lee and Prescilla Aldridge.^2,3 Malinda was born in New York State^G about 1809.⁵
     Elijah was listed in the census in 1830 and 1840 as a householder in Berlin, Delaware County, Ohio^G.^6,7
     In 1850 Elijah was living in Berlin, Delaware County, Ohio^G, and was recorded in the census as E G Sackett, a farmer, aged 41 and born in Pennsylvania. Living with him were his wife Malinda, 41, and their children, Hiram, 19, Francis, 17, Lyman, 15, Josephine, 13, Mariah, 11, Charles, 9, Sarah, 7, Martha, 5, Catharine, 3, and Lydia, aged nine months. Their son Sabina was living next door.⁸
     In 1860 he was living in Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois^G, and was recorded as Elzah [sic] Sackett, a farmer, aged 50. Living with him were his wife Malinda, 49, and their children, Hiram, 28, (listed as Lyman), Lyman, 25, (listed as Thiam), 25, Josephine, 23, Charles, 20, Sarah, 17, Martha, 15, Catherine, 13, and Lydia, aged eleven.⁹
     In 1870 he was living in Cheney Grove, McLean County, Illinois^G, and was recorded as Elijah G Sackett, a farmer, aged 61. His wife Malinda, 58, was living with him. Their married daughters Catherine and Josephine, and their unmarried daughter Lydia, were living next door.¹⁰
     In 1880 he was living in Grove, Adair County, Iowa^G, and was recorded as Elijah J Sackett, head of household, a farmer, aged 71, and born in Pennsylvania. Living with him were his wife Melinda, aged 70, and his granddaughter Nancy A Duncan, aged 13.¹¹

Augustus Sackett, son of Guy Sackett and Sarah Dunkan, was born in 1813.¹ He died aged about 49 on 13 September 1862.¹ He married Mary E Garye.¹
     Augustus was listed in the 1840 census as a householder in Berlin, Delaware County, Ohio^G.²
