Noah Edward Sacket, son of Eliakim Sacket and Anna Edwards, was born in Hampshire County, MassachusettsG, on 1 August 1800.1 He died aged 58 on 11 October 1858.1 He married at Boston, MassachusettsG, on 12 June 1825, Catherine R Goodrich.2 Catherine was born in MassachusettsG about 1807.3
     Noah was listed in the census in 1830 and 1840 as a householder in NorthamptonG.4,5
     In 1850 Noah was living at Boston, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG, and was recorded in the census as Noah E Sackett, aged 50, and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Catherine, aged 43, and born in Massachusetts, and their children, Sarah, 23, Noah, 22, Charles, 17, Alonzo, 15, Albert, 10, and Ellen, aged seven.6

Rufus Sackett, shoemaker of Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, son of Eliakim Sacket and Anna Edwards, was born on 3 January 1808.1,2 He died aged 66 in NorthamptonG on 14 August 18751,2,3 and was buried in the Bridge Street Cemetery, NorthamptonG.2 He married about 1827, Frances Parsons, daughter of Seth Parsons and Rachel Wales.1,2 Frances was born in NorthamptonG on 17 August 1809.2,4 She died aged 69 in NorthamptonG on 17 February 1879.2,5,6
     Rufus was listed in the census in 1830 and 1840 as a householder in NorthamptonG.7,8
     In 1850 Rufus was living in NorthamptonG and was recorded in the census as Rufus Sackett, a shoemaker, aged 41 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Frances, 40, and their children, Rufus, 19, Jerusha, 15, Louisa, 13, George, 10, Sarah, 8, Josephine, 6, Frederic, 4, and Ella, aged one month.9
     In 1870 he was living in NorthamptonG and was recorded as Rufus Sackett, a boot and shoe manufacturer, aged 61. Living with him were his wife Frances, aged 60, and born in Massachusetts, and their daughters, Ella, 21, and Alice, 17.10
     Rufus made his will in NorthamptonG, naming as beneficiaries his wife Frances, his sons Frederick, Rufus and George, and his daughters Louisa, Alice, Jerusha, Sarah, Josephine and Ella.11
